The Ultimate Hunting Destination

Within the Selous there is no habitation, no cultivation, no borders and no fences making hunting in the Selous a truly free range and fair chase experience. Applied methods of hunting are spot-and-stalk, tracking and hunting from blinds. The terrain in the Selous varies dramatically from relatively flat savanna to dense Miombo woodlands to rugged mountains. Due to the expansive and rugged nature of our hunting concessions we rely on our extremely experienced team of trackers whom are some of the best in the hunting industry and familiar with the terrain as well as the movements of the game to ensure top success of our hunts. The hunting season in Tanzania opens on 1st of July until the 31st of December.

Picturesque Wilderness

Step back in time to the era of old world colonial charm and grace. Situated directly on the banks of the mighty Rufiji River the setting of this camp is hard to beat indeed. Carefully structured to provide all the comforts of home in one of the most picturesque wilderness settings in the world. Sights and sounds of Hippo basking in the river, elephant graciously taking a sip from the Rufiji River to cool down, catching a glimpse of crocodile hunting, stunning sunsets across the Rufiji River are all right at your doorstep.

Our camp is accessed via air charter from the city of Dar es Salaam. The flight is 45 minutes of exquisite sites as you get a birds eye view of the magnificent Rufiji River and if you look close enough hippos basking in it.

Old World Colonialcharm and grace

After a long hot day hunting there’s nothing better than returning to a cozy camp overlooking the mesmerizing Rufiji River with an ice cold refreshment waiting for you by the bonfire. Our inviting camp consists of a thatched roof common area with comfortable seating, a bar and dining area where delicious meals are served. Our sleeping tents are spacious and fully equipped with electricity, enclosed shower, lavatory, basin with running water & flushing toilets, beds and storage space. Daily laundry service is provided. We are also equipped with Satellite phones and limited Wi-Fi.

Our camp staff consists of a large team, each personally selected for the role they perform. This includes camp manager, cook, wait staff, laundry valet, security, porters, drivers, mechanic, trackers, skinners, etc. Our camp is strictly booked exclusively to 1 group at a time to ensure 100% attentiveness and privacy.
