OCS opens the 2017-18 season with a concert lineup of star poets and composers. Exceptional

poets Sara Teasdale, James Agee, Pablo Neruda, James Joyce, and so many more.

Brilliant composers: Morten Lauridsen, Norman Dello Joio, Eric Whitacre to name a few.

Exquisite poetry married to beautiful music fill this evening of Nocturnes. Heavenly sounds

inspired by nightfall.

Herb Mahelona has spun an imaginative musical story in Hawaiian using traditional Hawaiian instruments. This premiere will also feature

multi-media elements, hula, as well as soloists. Performed at the historic Kawaiaha'o Church and

not to be missed!
