emergencies
Background:
What kind of cases come to A&E departments ??!
1-victims of road traffic accidents.
2-Violent crimes .
3-Accidents at home
4-suicide attempts .
5- self-harming .
6-Contact with toxic
chemicals &
radiation .
7- burns .
8- near drowning .
9- hypothermia .
*** A&E departments also fill up with people who should not really be there-people with minor injuries like sprains (sudden or severe twisting of a joint) , cuts , grazes (scratches) .
Q: When is an accident an emergency ??!!..
1- Overdose or poisoning .
