UNBC grads from 2010 had an employment rate of 92%, four percentage points higher than the provincial average. In addition, they earned an average of $59,00 per year, roughly $3,000 higher than the average B.C. graduate of the same year.

CNC provides Red Seal trades training in welding, machinist, millwright, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, heavy duty mechanics, autobody, power engineering, professional cook and more.
As the longest standing post - secondary institution in northern B.C., CNC has provided education to over 100,000 students since its inception in 1969.
CNC had one of the lowest annual tuitioncosts for all B.C. public post - secondaryinstitutions in the 2013 - 2014 academic year.
Did You Know?The college’s name, New Caledonia, is an homage to the early explorer and Canadian historic figure, Simon Fraser. New Caledonia was the name given by Fraser to the north- central region of present- ‐day B.C.

Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing, seven Trades Foundation Training

NWCC has four mobile training units
that are fully equipped classrooms on
wheels. The Health Trailer Training Unit,
Mobile Computer Skills Training Unit, Mobile Safety Training Unit, and the Heavy Duty Equipment Operator Training
Unit serve 34 urban and rural
communities in Northwest B.C. bringing education and
training throughout the region.

NLC has a nationally and internationally renowned Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
program - the only one of its kind in northern B.C. NLC is the only post-secondary institute in Canada to
provide a full sized cantilever drilling rig and simulatedwellsite facility for Oil and Gas Field Operator training
NLC offers the only internationally certified Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician program in B.C. NLC has three Centres of Training Excellence in Aerospace, Oil and Gas, and Clean Energy (Energy House, a LEED Platinum certified building.)
NLC graduates experience a 5 1% increase in salary earnings over high‐school graduates. 90% of NLC graduates were working within six months.
