What is a UBIT?

Under Bridge Inspection Truck (UBIT) This vehicle is capable of articulating in a variety of

positions to accommodate and facilitate both Inspection and Maintenance.

No outriggers are required while bucket is deployed (Counter weights)

Truck is still mobile and free to move while bucket is deployed.

State Tasking Perrine Bridge in Twin Falls

State Bridge Inspectors will require the UBIT for a total of 86 bridge inspections throughout the state of Idaho this year. At times multiple bridges can be completed in one day, while others require days to complete, or more than a days drive to get to.

Your Forman will create the work order based on the Activity being performed. M151-M159 supporting bridge maintenance, or M419 in support of inspection.

There should be a work order to cover M420 for all of your Traffic Control functions for Maintenance, and Inspection.

3 days training in Boise, ID

Aspen Aerial will be providing a 3 day training class on the basics of operation for the B-32 UBIT. There will be limited seats for all the district to provide 1 maybe 2 TTOs to be trained on basic operations.

Provided the District can provide an Operator, approved by the BAME, the District will have the option of independent use of the B-32 for maintenance activities for extended periods. (Provided B-32 is not employed by Bridge Asset

Management)

Once you request it, your not stuck with it. We are flexible on getting the UBIT where you need it to support State and Local Assets.
