The UC Davis Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAc) exceeds these standards. Our nine-month program includes advanced courses in auditing, tax and financial reporting, international accounting, ethics and communications. The Master of Professional Accountancy program welcomes applicants whose academic background, professional promise and personal qualities prepare them to meet both

the rigors of our program—and a successful career in accounting. The admissions committee considers all these factors when reviewing your application.

We admit students with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university who meet our entrance requirements. While an under-graduate accounting degree is not required, you must have successfully completed the following courses or their equivalents before beginning our program: Introduction to Financial Accounting, Introduction to Managerial Accounting and Business Law.

PROGRAM COST | With the demand for CPAs on the rise, MPAc graduates are expected to earn a considerable return on their financial investment. Estimated fees for fall 2014 are $41,580 for the degree.

FINANCIAL AID | UC Davis MPAc students have access to a variety of programs to help defray expenses, including scholarships and student loans. Several private organizations offer scholarships to accounting students, including CalCPA and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
