Evolving technologies, intertwined with new data from registries and trials, continue to change the practice of vascular surgery and vascular medicine. Innovations in medical therapies, treatment of complex aortic disease, carotid and peripheral artery disease merge with growing questions about durability and late events. Recent practice guidelines in aortic disease and chronic limb threatening ischemia reflect these ongoing tensions. Our 2020 symposium will bring many of the key issues to light in a fast-paced 2.5 day program including debates, interactive case discussions, and expert panels with an outstanding faculty. As before, we will have a focused mini-symposium on advanced limb preservation on Saturday, bringing together multi-disciplinary expertise to address the full spectrum of care for the threatened limb. This year we will highlight a focused session on distal bypass surgery, in recognition of the ongoing importance to maintain the quality of surgical revascularization in CLTI alongside endovascular interventions. Please join us for an exciting educational and networking event in beautiful downtown San Francisco.

GREENER MEETING We're saving paper! The syllabus will be transmitted electronically one week prior to the course. OBJECTIVES Upon completion of this activity an attendee will be able to: • Address the factors and techniques which will reduce

failure rates of peripheral vascular interventions; • Diagnose and treat thoracic and abdominal aortic

aneurysms by both open and endovascular techniques; • Provide the optimal conditions for the healing of diabetic

foot ulcers.

Park Central San Francisco San Francisco, CA
