Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Arora honorable Campus Director

of SGI is honored as The Key Note Speaker at "2nd i-

COME 2018 International Conference on

Management and Entrepreneurship - Cultivating the

Spirit of Sustainability, Innovation and Governance in

Business around World" was held in Indonesia during

26th to 28th July 2018. The talk delivered by Prof.

(Dr.) Vikas Arora on "Ethical Leadership" was

highly appreciated and recognized by the organizers

and participants of the Conference.

Expert Session on “Business Analytics”

A session on Business Analytics was conducted by

Dr. Ritesh Patel from GTU on 17th April 2018 for

the students of MBA sem. II. Dr. Ritesh Patel

explained the concepts of Business Analytics with its

relevance and implementation in various fields.

Seminar on “Effective Communication Skills”

In order to develop and improve most need skill of

communication a Seminar on “Effective Communication

skills” was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Arora the

campus director of the institute on 28th April 2018.

Many outside students and faculties attended the seminar

and took the advantage of the tips given by Prof. (Dr.)

Vikas Arora.

Workshop on Laravel Framework

The Department of MCA, SGI arranged two days’

Workshop on Laravel framework for the students

MCA 5th semester. from 19th to 21st July 2018.

Workshop was delivered by Mr. Bhaumik Pandhi

from WingTech Solutions Pvt. Ltd.-Rajkot.

Print Ad Exhibition & Session on Marketing

Students of MBA sem. II organized the Print Ad

Exhibition under the guidance of Prof. Pratik Paun

on 17th April 2018. Mr. Prashant Bambhorikar

the General Manager of silver engineering, Rajkot

was invited to judge the event.

Celebrations

Farewell Party of MBA Students

On 28th April 2018 farewell party was arranged for the 8th

batch of MBA and 1st batch of i-MBA by their juniors.

Sunshine Family wishes them a glorious future and great

career ahead.

International Yoga Day

On 21st June 2018 the whole Sunshine Family celebrated

International Yoga Day by practicing yoga and meditation in

order to adopt it as a routine to take a step towards a healthy

life. The art of practicing yoga helps in controlling an

individual's mind, body and soul.

Sports Day

Sports helps to reduce stress, enhance the leadership quality

and a Good way to meet new people and make new friends

for the students. For that department of IT conducts sports

day on 20/7/2018 for new comers in IT department as a part

of one week orientation program.

“Guru Purnima”

Guru Purnima is the day to say thanks to our teachers.

Students of IT and Management organized 'Guru Purnima'

celebration on 19 July as a gratitude and honor towards the

teachers. The day glorified the traditional practice of

honoring the ‘Guru’ who play a vital role in shaping the

career of the pupil. Students wished teaching as well as

non-teaching staff with bouquet and memento .

Industrial & Social Visits

Visit @ District, Traffic, Family & Session Court

Students of i-MBA sem. IV along with Prof. Khushbu Dave

and Prof. DarshanRaval visited District, Traffic, Family&

Session Court Rajkot on 2nd

April 2018. They observed

proceeding of cases at these courts which helped them

understand the practical proceeding of cases.

Industrial Visit @ Bisag

Training and Placement Cell –MCA has organized an

industrial visit for MCA semester V students at Bisag,

Gandhinagar on 22nd July, 2017. Students have observed the

live development environment as they have interacted with

the developers and gained knowledge out of it.

Honor of Helping Hands

Students of i-MBA sem. II arranged a program to honor the

supporting staff and helping hands of the institute under the

guidance of Prof. Pratik Paun on 25th April 2018. The

institute thanked the supporting staff and helping hands by

presenting them memento. They felt overwhelmed with

small get together with snacks prepared by students.

Blood Donation

Students of MCA 5th

semester participated in blood

donation camp organized by Parin furniture- Rajkot.

Students donated the blood and showed their kindness to the

needy people.

“Orientation Program-MCA”

Orientation Program for MCA new comers

organized on 17th

July, 2018. The program started with

the welcome note by Prof. Dr. Vikas Arora sir. Ms.

Ami Moteria Chief UI/UX designer from Elluminati

INC & Organizer Google Developer Group, Rajkot

was invited as Chief Guest for the event.

Felicitation of GTU Toppers

Sunshine Group of Institutions is having the prideful

tradition of securing top positions in every stream in

GTU results. On 27th April 2018 the institute

felicitated 14 students of MBA, i-MBA and MCA who

secured GTU top positions. Congratulations to all the

students for their achievements.

Faculty Development Program

A Faculty Development Program was organized by

Dept. of Management, SGI from 15th

to 26th June

2018. All Faculties from Dept. of Management delivered

a session on their specialized field. This was a good

exercise of sharing and exchanging knowledge and

experience with all the faculty members.

Poster Presentation Competition

Department of MCA organized poster presentation

competition on topic “Guru Purnima”. MCA 3rd

semester students participated with great enthusiasm.

“

Sunshine Group of Institutions arranged a seminar on

“Career Guidance after 12th

” which was delivered by Prof.

Pratik Paun on 23rd May 2018. Many students from

different schools participated in this seminar along with

their parents.

“Magic of MCA & MBA”

As the Management and IT fields are flourishing the

courses like MBA and MCA have become most popular

and demanded. On 6th

June 2018 the campus director

Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Arora delivered a session on “Magic

of MBA & MCA”. During the session he discussed

importance of such courses.

It is the responsibility of a teacher to provide true

education which is mixture of intelligence and a good

character. Sunshine Group of Institutions organized

Faculty development program on “Including ‘Sanskar’

in Students “ on 14th

July 2018. After attending this

session all the faculties had realized their responsibility

towards the student development.
