1.IntroductionThehostclubTSVBraunshardt,theOrganisationComitee,thecityofWeiterstadtandallourpartnerswelcomeyoualltothe5thand6thRoundofthe2016EuropeanCupinWeiterstadt,GermanyfromJune10thtoJune12th2016.BMX-racingistraditioninWeiterstadtandithasahugeroleinthesportsandculturalenvironmentofthecity.Itallbeganintheyear1982.AcoupleofBMXenthusiaststeameduptopracticeandgotoracestogether.ButwithoutaBMXtrack,practicingisverydifficult.Therefore,somefamiliesjoinedtofoundtheBMXclubthatstillexiststoday.Shortlyafterwards,in1983,theyjoinedthesportsclubTSVBraunshardt1889e.V.ABMXtrackcouldsoonbebuilt.In1984theyoungBMXclubalreadyhostedaGermanChampionshiponthebrandnewtrack.Thiswastheacidtestforanevenbiggerproject,aEuropeanChampionshipwhichwasplannedfortheyear1986.Thisbigeventwassuccessfullyrealized.Over1200BMXriderscametoWeiterstadtforthisrace.Sincethen,theWeiterstadtBMX-Clubwasthehostofmanynationalandinternationalraces.AftertheEuropeanChampionshipandEuropeanCupracesin1986,2008,2010,and2013theupcomingracewillbethefifthinternationalraceinWeiterstadt.2.WeiterstadtBMXTrack
