Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following 3 Year CBCS First Degree

Programmes starting in June 2015, with the respective intake shown against each

programme:

REGULATIONS

Filled in applications in the prescribed format should be submitted to the

Principal before the closure of registration. Last date for submission of

applications shall be published in the notice board/website.

Application forms for all programmes can be obtained from the college office. An

amount of Rs. 150/- (For General students), Rs. 100/- (For SC/ST/OEC

students) has to be submitted towards application form and processing charges. BA

(Journalism, Mass Communication & Video Production) applicants have to remit

an additional fee of Rs.200/- towards Aptitude test.

Application forms can also be downloaded from the college website www.mic.ac.in

Those who submit downloaded application form should remit the amount towards

application and processing fees in the following account and send the remittance

slip along with the filled in application form to the Principal, Mar Ivanios College,

Nalanchira P.O., Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala 695 015.

Downloaded applications without fee remittance slip will be rejected. Application

forms received after the last date of registration will not be accepted.

Applicants for BA (Journalism, Mass Communication & Video Production) should

appear for an Aptitude Test, the date and time of which shall be intimated to the

applicants. They have to submit an application for Aptitude Test along with copy of

fee remittance slip and a self-addressed envelope. Equal weightage will be given to

Plus Two marks and Marks obtained in the Aptitude test.

Aptitude Test for JMC&VP will consist of objective type questions and descriptive

type questions. A Model Question Paper is available in the college website.

Only students who have studied in Science stream for Plus Two are eligible to apply

for BVoc (Software Development).

Those who apply for Self-financing Programmes should apply in the specific

application form. Students applying both in the aided stream and self-financing

stream should submit separate application forms.

Those who apply in the Management Quota should submit a separate application

form along with the general application form. Management Quota (20% of the

seats) Application Forms should be directly obtained from the college office.

There is no special application for Community Quota Students. Community Quota

(10% of the seats) benefit is available only for Malankara Syrian Catholic

students. Such students should indicate the matter clearly in the specified column

of the Application form.

Incomplete application forms will not be accepted. Students should make sure that

they provide correct details in the application form. Signatures of students and

parents shall be put wherever necessary failing in which the application cannot be

considered.

Ranked merit list for each programme shall be published in the notice

board/website after the closing of the submission of application forms. Interview

details also will be available.
