Thermo la to r (Tempera ture Cont ro l Un i t -TCU) S tack Rack ins t ruc t ions Conair’s Thermolator Stack Rack is designed to work with a variety ofThermolators. The stack rack is adjustable to fit different models. TheConair stack rack was specifically designed for use with Conair’s TW-V,TW-S, TW-P, TW-1, TW-2, and TW Plus Series Thermolators, but willwork with other models as well.

Refer to the attached drawing number 330040 for specific information aboutthe assembly and use of the stack rack.

• The TW-V, TW-S, and TW-P models will utilize the wheel channelsin the Wide position. In the Wide position, the bolt heads will be in the inside holes of the channels (toward the center of the rack).

• For the TW-1, TW-2, and TW-Plus models, the wheel channels will need to be in the Narrow position. In the Narrow position, the bolt heads will be in the outside holes of the channels (toward the outside of the rack).

Adjusting the wheel channels to Narrow positioning for your TCU

1 Locate the four nuts holding the bolts through the wheel channels. This will be underneath the tray.

2 Using a 7/16-inch wrench, and a5/32-inch Allen wrench, loosen andremove the nuts from the bolts.

3 Remove the bolts from the channels, and slide the channels so that they are in the narrow position.

4 Place the bolts back through thechannels, and tighten the lock nutonto the bolt, securing the channel inplace. The wheel channels are now inthe narrow position.

Safety Pin Wheel Lock

The stack rack comes equipped with two safety pins thatare used as wheel locks. These pins help to prevent theThermolator from shifting position in the track.

For TW-1, TW-2, TW-Plus, TW-V, TW-S, and TW-P (non-MedLine models), the pin should be located in theinside hole, toward the center of the stand. Back holes support TW-V, TW-S, TW-P models with medical gradecasters. Refer to the attached drawing 330040 for moreinformation.

Wheels of the TCU unit(s) should always be oriented such that the rear casters and the swivel offset are directed towardthe front of the rack. The front of the stack rack is identified as the side that has the channels extending entirely to theframework. Additionally, the front framework does not have any drilled drain holes.
