Functional Specification

The Ultimate Mobile Fuel Storage Solution (Jumanji 1000) for any Fuel Storage Commercial or Depot Above-ground Installation. The entire solution

is built into a Mobile Pump Skid (2,5 x 2,5m) that can be mounted onto a Mobile Tank or in a static position adjacent the Tank Farm. The pump skid

can easily lifted with a forklift. We supply a 2½” Drybreak coupling for the road tanker to couple up its 4” decanting composite hose or Loading

arm with an API coupling. All pipework is 3”or 4” and is TIG welded with welds passivated. The Diesel Fuel passes through a 3” Basket Strainer

entering the suction pump end of a centrifugal High efficiency (75%) 3” or 4” pump. These pumps maintain discharge pressure @ 4 Bar even

decanting into 17m high 110m³ pencil tanks. Gauges for suction and discharge lines are provided on system.

On the discharge line, a Non-Return valve directs the flow direction. The Diesel fuel then passes through a 10 micron Coalescer Filtration Unit (a

Pre-Filter with Coalescer Vessel combination is recommended for high volume coalescer cerfiltration). The goal is to ensure, as Diesel is hygroscopic

in nature, free water or water held in suspension, is removed. A differential Pressure Gauge informs one when the cartridges are to be changed-out.

Optional sampling points or an optic reader for continuous fuel quality readouts can be provided. The Diesel fuel then passes through a Vapour

Check Bulk Air-eliminator to ensure that there is no air trapped in the fuel line which could influence the flow meter measuring process and thus

give an erroneous reading. This is an essential requirement for any Flow Metrology equipment where custody transfer or product is sold and is

therefore regulated by all countries respective National Metrology Standards.

The 3”& 4” Tatsuno Lobe flow meter incorporates world class technology and delivers from min. 166 l/m to 1100 l/min (Jumanji 1000 series) and

330 l/min to 2000 l/min maximum flow (Jumanji 2000 series) @full range (has been tested to higher flow ranges but accuracy is paramount)(see

attached brochure). Besides being the most reliable meter (operating for 10 years in RSA without any failures), it has the intelligence to measure

any 'creep' due to thermal expansion of the fuel in the line as it is bi-directional and also fitted with thermal compensation which is extremely

valuable to combat Africa's huge daily temperature fluctuation range when stock reconciliation of product is critical. A calibration port is provided

with an API 607 Fire Safe ball valve. Pre-set and printer function available with wireless capability.

The Decanting options we cater for are; min. 166 l/m to 1100 l/min (Jumanji 1000 series) and 330 l/min to 2000 l/min maximum flow (Jumanji 2000

series) utilising Drybreak couplings with composite hoses, or 3”& 4” Loading Arms.

Whilst our Dispensing options, dependant on the application requirements, cater for Submersible Tank Pump (STP’s) 40 l/min, 90 l/min and 200

l/min flow rates using ZVA nozzles, or using our Jumanji 1000 & Jumanji 2000 series Variable Speed Drive Solutions, we are able to achieve ultra-

high flow rates from 350 l/min to 1500 l/min via dry break couplings or Stainless Steel 416 Mining Fuelling Nozzles. We are therefore able to select

the optimum flow rate required for any application.

A wireless system is easily integrated and is currently used in our ICON Dispenser range (see ICON brochure). My Tank Automatic Tank Gauging

(ATG) and FuelCompFuel Management Systems (FMS).

An Electrical IP65 SS304 Robust Weatherproof panel is also provided with full electrical switchgear protection and Variable Speed Drive controls for

the 3-phase motor drive (see Motor Starting & Protection Comparison Chart) especially designed for African conditions.

A Wireless Start/Stop/Emerg Stop handheld remote device is integrated in to the VSD Panel and controls all operations as per prescribed

programming. An optional programmable ticket printer is also provided in the VSD Panel.
