-Place ultrasound system contralateral to affected side.-Place ultrasound transducer just superior to the inguinal crease directly over femoral nerve (N), artery (A) and vein (V).-Probe marker facing the patient’s right

-Locate the fascia iliaca, femoral nerve, femoral artery and femoral vein.

- In-plane needle visualization.- Lateral to medial approach with needle slow injection of

anesthetic under fascia iliaca.
