1. 3. Problem Solving• Improve reliability of machines with engineering solutions. • Improve performance of machines by development of maintenance tasks.• Fault finding and being able to quickly get to root cause of the problem.• Eliminate repeated faults.

4. Customer Service• Review and agree the Weekly plan with the logistics team prior to its issue. • Coach the team to develop a mindset to constantly review their performance against their plan and take corrective actions.• Coach the team to ensure that machines/equipment are run at the correct speed/settings.• Direct the team to maximize the use of any down time to carry out AM & improvement activities.• Ensure that teams prepare properly for changeovers and ensure that they are then executed. within the allocated time using all appropriate checklists and methodology.

5. Cost• Manage the Repairs and Maintenance budget for their area.• Liaise with Operations Manager and budget holders in order to assess and fund required improvements. • Highlight the need for third party resources (e.g. Temporary labor, cleaners) in accordance with HR policy and control using current processes.

6. Autonomous Maintenance• Ensure that AM schedules of the required standard are in place for their areas and are completed in a timely manner during shift, to the right standard.• Identify the need for tagging exercises and organizing the execution to achieve the AM steps defined in the Site Master Plan.• Ensure that Tagging is carried out to the correct standard.• Manage Tagging Process, ensuring that Tags are completed in a timely manner.

8. Effective Maintenance• Manage the maintenance planning and maintenance activities for their area of the operation. Work with the Maintenance Leader and Maintenance Planner when planning maintenance activities, and ensure any changes to standard timings are agreed with any other impacted teams.• Ensure that all maintenance tasks are logged effectively.• Work with the Maintenance Leader and Maintenance Planner to ensure that all AM & PM schedules for your area of the Operation are routinely reviewed and continually improved.

9. Training and Development• Construct and maintain the Skills Matrix for the teams in their area.• Review the Skills Matrix in the light of gaps identified via kaizen analysis and biggest losses.• Maintain a standardized system for management of OPL.• Ensure appropriate training packages are available and being used for new recruits and transfers to your area.• Review content of applicable training packages and revise in light of improvement activities.• Interact with TPM and Training team to address training needs.

10. Early Management• Maintain equipment Technical Documentation, updating with all improvements or modifications made.• Actively participate in design reviews and MP workshops.• Support the project team on the new equipment or product projects and ensure a vertical ramp up and changes to all applicable procedures.

2) HALEEB FOODS LIMITED (08 May 2007 – To 30-Nov-08). Worked in the capacity of Assistant Manager Production (Dairy) for almost two years. Broad experience of working of quality production on PLC controlled processing and packaging equipment;

Haleeb Bottle filling line. Processing and aseptic filling of juice & dairy products. Pasteurization of juice and dairy products. UHT (Ultra Heat Treatment) of juice and dairy products. Processing of other dairy products. Familiar with quality as well as environmental management systems.

Served Pakistan’s largest caustic soda manufacturing Industry (Sitara Chemicals) as a “Project Engineer” in Project department for 8 months. Experienced and proficient in operating & controlling DCS (Distributed control system), PLC (programmable logic control), and well equipped with the knowledge of P & ID, project design and execution. Key responsibilities that I had performed there are.

Caustic manufacturing from Rock salt to finish product on latest membrane technology (Uhdenora electrolyzers Germany).

Installation, Erection and commissioning of Triple effect evaporation plant (Feed Backward system) and HCL Furnaces until their smooth operation till production prior to target.

Well equipped with the knowledge of pressure vessels, heat exchangers especially shell and tube, plate type ,double pipe, plate columns, packed columns , pumps, clarifiers , chillers(both vapor compression refrigeration cycle ( air cooled and water cold systems) and absorption refrigeration cycle, Reverse osmosis(RO) plant ,Nitrogen generation plant.

Industrial training and Projects.

Attained comprehensive industrial training at “National Refinery Limited”, Korangi industrial area, Karachi, for five weeks with full attention and devotion in these departments, fuel oil refinery, lube oil refinery, utilities, fuel testing laboratory and workshop, especially in fire fighting with multiplication of lectures and practice. Attained the creative abilities up to the level of excel capabilities in designing and process controlling.
