These breakers are sensitive to load usage, energy spikes, and non- efficient electronics and appliances. Please do not overload outlets with multi-outlet plugs. We encourage the use of power strips with surge protectors. Some electrical things to consider leaving at home: -Gaming Computers -Space Heaters Internet Access Single-Digits is our internet provider. If you need any assistance registering, connecting your device, or have general questions you can call them directly at 855-890-9546 To connect to the internet, you will have to select "UMBResHall" as your wifi connection. You should then use the "Resident Login" options. Enter your UMass Boston credentials (email address & password). Your account will be activated right before move in. Receiving Packages To receive packages at the residence halls, sign up for Parcel Pending. Click here to sign up! You can use either address, 240 William T. Morrissey Blvd, or 240 Morrissey Blvd. Please make sure your full name and room number are on the package. Here are some helpful tips in order to succeed as a resident!

StreamingXfinity On-Campus is the streaming service that allows users access to cable.This can be used with any streaming-compatible device. Be sure to download

the Xfinity App onto your mobile device. To connect, select "Xfinity On-Campus Students" and search UMass Boston.

If you are having trouble with the remotes, you can also download the Rokuapp which provides remote access using your mobile device.

Trash RoomEach floor has a trash room located near the elevator. Help us keep the building clean by

following the guidelines below. Blue Trash Bins: Trash Chute

These bins are specifically for recycling. The trash chute is for all trash that is in a bag.

Trash Chute Operation: Press the green-lit button and then open the trash chute door. Please put the bag insideand close the door. *Cardboard is not allowed in the trash compactor. All boxes must be

broken down and then put into the blue trash bins.*

Work OrdersIt is important as a community that we all do our part in ensuring that our home is

clean, fully functioning and safe for all residents and community members. Please read the following instructions on how to submit a work order.

Steps on How to Submit a Work Order:
