Dr. Stompin’ Tom…Eh! Is the newest edition to the ‘Collectors Series’ of classic Stompin Tom material from the archives .. Originally released in 1993, the title of this album reissue refers to Tom's Honourary Doctorate of Laws that he had just received from St. Thomas University. Presented with new artwork and liner notes that include contributions from those that performed with Tom and from family members, this CD re‐issue has been long sought after by collectors and music fans alike and includes the Stompin Tom classics “Canada Day, Up Canada Way” , “The Football Song”, “Gumboot Cloggeroo” , “Old Flat Top Guitar”, and the Song/Music Video that made our Canadian Military proud, “The Blue Berets”. “Dr.” Stompin' Tom, was one of the most successful country artists in Canadian history that went on to receive a 2nd honorary doctorate of laws from the University of Toronto in the year 2000, and in 2003 was honoured with a Doctorate of Letters from UPEI. After that, Tom coined one of his favorite catch phrases; “If Stompin’ Tom can do it, anyone can!”. Tom was undeniably one of a kind. His unswerving national pride was the hallmark of his six‐decade career of entertaining Canadians at home with millions of fans spreading his Canadian Patriotism worldwide. Tom wrote 24 albums of original material, published several children's books as well as a two‐volume best‐selling autobiography “Before the Fame” & “The Connors Tone”. He also starred in his own Canadian feature film, "Across This Land", and the 23 week CBC television series "Stompin' Tom's Canada". Tom was a recipient of the Order of Canada, the Governor General’s Performing Arts Award, the Queen’s Golden & Diamond Jubilee Medals, countless industry association awards, and even saw his picture issued on a Canadian postage stamp. New Gold Dream is the fifth studio album by Scottish rock band Simple Minds. The album was originally released in 1982 and

was a turning point for the band as they gained critical and commercial success in the UK, Europe and beyond.

The record generated singles; "Promised You a Miracle" (released in April 1982), "Glittering Prize" (August 1982) and

"Someone Somewhere in Summertime" (November 1982). The title track also saw a limited release in Italy, when the band

visited the country during their tour in March 1983. In addition, the jazz keyboardist Herbie Hancock performed a

synthesizer solo on the track "Hunter and the Hunted."

This is an album that launched their career worldwide, and we’re pleased to present it in a deluxe format. 5CDs newly re‐

Often thought of as a cross between Black Sabbath and Rush, the underappreciated outfit has influenced countless acts, despite enduring countless line‐up shifts throughout their history. The group originally formed in 1967 in Cardiff, Wales, comprised of members Burke Shelley (vocals, bass), Tony Bourge (guitar), and Ray Phillips (drums), and by the early '70s, they'd inked a deal with MCA Records. This early lineup remains Budgie's most definitive, due to the fact that it spawned three of the group's finest albums ‐‐ 1971's self‐titled debut, 1972's Squawk, and 1973's Never Turn Your Back On A Friend ‐‐ while the group's quirky song titles became somewhat of a trademark for the trio (such ditties as "Nude Disintegrating Parachutist Woman," "Hot as a Docker's Armpit," "In the Grip of a Tyrefitter's Hand," and "You're the Biggest Thing Since Powdered Milk"). Despite building a sizeable following in their homeland (while never breaking out of cult status stateside), Phillips left the group prior to their fourth album, 1974's In For the Kill!, replaced by newcomer Pete Boot, which would in turn set off a flurry of steady lineup changes over the years for the group (the only constant Budgie member from the beginning was Shelley). Further releases were issued throughout the '70s, including 1975's Bandolier.Shelley and company would remain together for a few more years before splitting up quietly by the mid‐'80s, But almost as soon as they disbanded, several high‐profile groups began covering Budgie classics, including Metallica (Crash Course in Brain Surgery and Breadfan), Iron Maiden (I Can't See My Feelings), while back in their early club days Van Halen was known to cover the title track from In For The Kill! This 3‐CD compilation contains their 3 classic albums, that were recorded for MCA and are regarded as classics of the Genre – the albums have been re‐mastered from original tapes (for the first time) The booklet contains a new essay by Classic Rocks Malcolm Dome and contains photos and information from the era. This set provides a great starting on point for anyone interested in the band.

The talented DJ and producer Hardwell will release a new edition of the popular series Hardwell Presents Revealed. Volume 7 gives the listener a good impression of the live sets of the true festival‐straddling superstar. New Gold Dream is the fifth studio album by Scottish rock band Simple Minds. The album was originally released in 1982 and was a turning point for the band as they gained critical and commercial success in the UK, Europe and beyond. The Cat Empire emerged as a live band. We all grew up playing around Melbourne and were always most comfortable on a stage. We would always finish gigs and people would say that the energy of the live show was what they wanted to take home on an album. So the challenge was to create something that was energetic, vibrant, and alive, but also subtle and decisive. This concept passed by a few different models, but in the end we aimed for simplicity. We recorded all the tracks live, then spent time re‐doing vocal takes, and some other additions. We had Andy Baldwin on our team, who was the perfect co‐producer and engineer.
