It all began in the back of Anna and Woytko Stawniczy’s general store, when the couple decided to bring the traditional savory meats they enjoyed as kids to their community. Woytko added one small sausage smoker and that’s all it took. That single step secured Stawnichy’s place at the dinner table across the province for generations to come.

Four generations later, Stawnichy’s Mundare Sausage is still family operated and owned and as committed to their roots and their community as ever.

By maintaining the traditional Ukrainian flavours and developing new products for changing tastes and trends, Stawnichy’s continues to grow and serve the dynamic needs of Albertans.
