METHODOLOGY

The data presented was collected in the following manner:

1. Direct responses from graduating students

2. Responses from employers

3. Responses from faculty 4. Information received from Undergraduate Programs submitted for graduation

5. Phone calls made directly to graduates or their families

DEFINITION OF CATEGORIES

GRADUATE SCHOOL indicates the graduate is attending graduate school

ADDITIONAL EDUCATION indicates the graduate is gaining additional undergraduate education before entering the workforce

EMPLOYED PROFESSIONALLY is defined as employment which requires a college degree. It does not always indicate employment in the graduated field of study TEMPORARILY EMPLOYED, SEEKING PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYMENT indicates the graduate is working in a position that does not require a college degree. This type of employment is often a carryover from work while in school

NOT SEEKING* indicates the graduate is not entering the job market or seeking additional education at this time

NO REPLY* indicates that despite our best efforts, no contact was made to ascertain this individual’s employment status

*These categories are not included in the Total Engaged statistics.
