Studio Project- ENDS 205 Design Studio Level II, Texas A&M University - Fall 2008

Site Plan

Project: To design a pavillion with underlying concepts taken from architects such as Frank Lloyd Wright, Mies Van Der Rohe, and Le Corbusier. The emphasis was how the pavillion responded to a conceptual site and possible views. There is a varied interpretation of each architect; Mies’s “less is more”, Corbusier’s use of ramps and movement, and Wright’s incorporation into the site and an openess to the outside.

Veteran’s ClinicC h r i s t o p h e r D i l w o r t h

Studio Project- ARCH 271 Design Studio, University of Tennessee - Fall 2009

Project: The design of a small veterans outpatient clinic in an interstice of Downtown Knoxville, Tennessee. The Examination Room was desgined fi rst as a single element of the program. This then became a repetitive element of the fi nal design. The fi nal design was an exploration of the massing wall in its regards as a threshold component, occupiable zone, or storage area.
