Our Insurers.ADL are a subsidiary of Argo Group International Holdings and form part of the Argo Group of companies.

Argo are keen to utilise their European platform where appropriate as an alternative to their Lloyd’s of London platform. The ongoing development of the European platform is a key part of their future strategy. Having both a Lloyd’s and a European company platform allows Argo to respond quickly and efficiently to the specific needs of partners, whilst not compromising standards or appetite in a changing market environment.

With over 300 years’ experience, we’ve learnt a thing or two about risk and uncertainty and the value of insurance to our customers.

As the world evolves so do the needs of those we serve, and we must respond with an agile yet resilient business that always strives to do better.

We are one of the world’s longest standing general insurers, providing peace of mind to individuals and protecting small businesses and large corporations from uncertainty. We use our capabilities to anticipate and exceed customer expectations and improve outcomes for customers via our direct channel, our broker relationships or partner organisations. We have established leadership positions in Scandinavia, Canada, and the UK & International (which includes Ireland and Middle East).

Our Charity.

Our Charity of the Year 2020

This year, Commercial Express is fundraising for the Alzheimer’s Society. The charity for 2020 was chosen due to the cause being important to many of our staff members and we aim to raise as much as possible through various events across the year.

Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading dementia charity and we are joining them as they campaign for change, fund research to find a cure and support people living with dementia today. Dementia is the UK’s biggest killer. Someone develops it every three minutes and there’s currently no cure.

Commercial Express will be fundraising with a selection of activities during 2020. These will include cake sales, games, bingo and various individual challenges such as bike rides.
