Accessing session pages

From the main COP 25 page on the UNFCCC website, click on a link to one of the session pages.

Initial view

When you first access a session page on a particular visit to the UNFCCC website, all the agenda items will be folded (you will only see the main agenda items under Agenda and documents)

Expanding items

You can then click on a particular item (item 2 in this example) to see any sub-items under that item. Click on an individual sub-item (if there are any) to see the information and documents under that sub-item.

To see all the sub-items, information and documents under all the items, click on Expand All

Browsing all items

Once you've clicked on Expand All, you will see all the information, sub-items and documents, if any, under all items.

Click on the small up arrow for each item to fold that item. Click on Back to top at any point to go back to the top of the page. Click on Fold All at the top of the page to fold all items.

Limiting the view to items with documents

At the top of the page, you have the option to filter agenda items in several different ways.

Check the Only agenda items with documents option to see only items under which documents have been posted (all items and sub-items without documents will be hidden).

View only L. documents

Click on the L. documents only filter to see only L. documents, which normally contain conclusions and decisions being recommended or proposed for consideration and adoption by a subsidiary or governing body (all other documents and all items and sub-items without L. documents will be hidden).

L. documents are highlighted in green.

View only in-session documents

Select this filter to limit the view to in-session documents. This includes L. documents (see previous slide) as well as draft texts and other related items. It hides pre-session documents from the view.

Only favourites filter

If you want to limit the view to very specific items (e.g. items you follow), first mark them as favourites by clicking on the stars for those items. Then select the Only favourites filter to limit the view to those items and sub-items.

Your browser will remember your favourites and pre-select them for you the next time you visit that session page. You can always deselect a particular favourite by clicking on its star again.

Keyword search

Enter a keyword in the search field (or the first part of the word) to filter for that word in item titles, document titles, item information, etc. (only items containing that word will be shown).

Elements of a document entry

1. Click on the down arrow in the blue square to see the available language versions

2. Document symbol

3. Document title

4. Type of document

5. Date document was published

6. Click anywhere inside the document entry rectangle to access the full record for that document

Latest documents feed

On the right side of each session page you can find a list of the latest five documents posted on that page.

Hover the cursor over an entry to see the full title. Click on it to access the record.

Mandated events tab

Click on the Mandated events tab on each session page to access a list of events mandated for that session.

Reports on session and Decisions tabs

The report on the session (post-session report) files and the decisions are posted after the conference, once ready, on the respective tabs.
