Sparkling unicorn

You need:scissors · cardboard · colourful glitter · glue · cutting mat

1. Print the pattern below onto the card-board. Cut it out – if you need a hand, your parents surely won’t mind helping.

2. Spread the glue onto one side of the cut out unicorn – distribute carefully to make sure the glitter stays on.

How it works:3. Sprinkle the glitter onto the unicorn –

you can repeat this step. Work on a cut-ting mat to reuse the glitter falling aside.

Sparkling invitationsbirthday invite

You need:cardboard A5 (148 x 210mm) · sparkling unicorn · glue · decoration gems

After having finished the sparkling unicorns, there are various options to use them for decorating.

1. No party without an amazing invite announcing when, where and what time your unicorn party will happen. Fold your sheet one time down the centre.

How it works:2. Now ready to adorn your invitation with

the incredible unicorns, placed on the front of your folded sheet. Spread the glue carefully on the entire back of the sparkling unicorn.

3. To your liking you can adorn your card with additional glitter gems.

Straws and cupswith unicorns

You need:colourful straws · paper cups · sparkling unicorns · hot melt gun

How it works:

Having finished your sparkling unicorns – you have various options to use them as decora-tion. 1. A splendid decoration for your paper cups.

To attach them securely, use the hot melt gun. Carefully, or with help of an adult, dis-tribute the glue onto the back of your glitter horse. CAUTION This can be very hot – ask for a helping hand.

2. If you like, you can also decorate the straws. Attach one sparkling unicorn on the upper end of your straws.

Tins with unicornsfor throwing games

You need:3-5 empty tins · decorative sticky tape · sparkling unicorns · hot melt gun

Another option to use your unicorns – amazing tins for throwing games!

1. Decorate your clean tins with some sticky tape – be creative the wilder the better!

2. For the next step you will need a hand from an adult. Carefully glue the spar-kling unicorn onto the tins with your hot melt gun. CAUTION Hot melt gun and glue will get very hot!

3. See how wonderful they are! This is a favourite game on any fairground. Stack your tins in a pyramid shape. With a ball (tennis ball size) try to knock over as many as possible. Distance from the pyramid at least 2m.

Garland - pennantscolourful decoration

You need:crayons · stiff cardboard in your favourite colours · scissors · string to thread together

1. Carefully cut out the pattern below – your parents or grandparents will love to give you a hand. To copy as many pennants as needed, just trace the shape with a crayon onto your cardboard. The longer you wish your garland to be, the more pennants you’ll need.

2. Now you can cut the copied pennants out of your cardboard sheet – asking for help is absolutely fine. Cut out the holes shown on the pattern. It is easier to use a hole punch.

How it works:3. Now you can thread together the pen-

nants (see pictures below). Be creative and decorate them with your sparkling unicorns, glitter gems or make glitter pennants – with glue spread onto them and the glitter sprinkled on.

Lovely tasselsfor garlands & decoration

You need:colourful tissue paper · cutter · ruler · cutting mat · string to thread together

1. Fold the tissue paper once down the center. For the next step you’re allowed to ask for help. Cut stripes with your cutter, always at the same distance. CAUTION Stop cutting approximately 5cm before you reach the fold.

2. Unfold your paper carefully. Now roll it into a thin roll.

3. Twist the middle part of the roll and bend it down right center. Now twist the two edges together, creating a little hole on the top. This helps to thread together your tassels to create a most amazing garland.

Potato printingfor serviettes

You need:stiff serviettes · 1 potato · kitchen knife · acrylic paint · paint brush

1. Cut out the pattern below. Choose your favourite one. Ask for a hand now. Cut the potato in two halves.

How it Works:

2. Place your cut out pattern onto the po-tato and cut around your chosen shape. The potato is your stamp, so remove the sides of the potato, which do not belong to the shape. Now your shape should stick out of the potato half, just like a stamp.

3. Colour your crown stamp with a brush, covering it completely.

4. Can’t wait to see your first print? Press the coloured potato onto your serviette. Repeat as often as you wish on different positions on your serviette to create a lovely pattern.

1. Draw a large circle onto your cardboard with your preferred colour. Your circle should have approximately a diameter of 20cm. Cut along your drawn line. Tip: Put a large bowl onto your cardboard and draw around it - it‘s a lot faster this way.

How it works:

2. Now cut along the centre line to the centre of your circle. Someone will enjoy helping you to find the centre. It is ok to ask for help!

3. Now role your circle into the shape of a cone. Finish when having achieved a pretty point for your hat.

4. Following, glue the edge onto the card-board underneath to fix the shape of your hat.

You need: cardboard · elastic band · scissors · sparkling unicorns · hot melt gun · adhesive tape

5. For the next step you will need the help of an adult. Carefully glue your sparkling unicorn onto your hat. Use the hot melt gun to ensure your unicorn is securely fixed. CAUTION Hot melt guns get extremely hot!

How it works:

6. Last but not least tie the elastic band onto the hat. Effortless it is, when having punched holes with your hole punch before.

Part 2

7. Excellent! See how your hat will look. Be creative and make them in different colours and additional adornments like glitter or gems.

Make the doll guests hats as well. Simply make your circle

with a 10cm diameter and follow the instructions above.What a fab party this will be!

Unicorn cakemagical decoration

You need:stiff paper · scissors · icing sugar · small sieve · yummy birthday cake

1. Cut out the pattern below. Tip: For the tricky parts use nail scissors or ask for help.

How it works:

2. Place the cut out pattern onto your cake and put some icing sugar into your small sieve.

3. Sieve the sugar onto the crown shaped opening of your pattern until it is com-pletely covered.

4. Carefully remove the pattern from the cake. Be careful to not smudge the amazing unicorn cake.
