CrudeSep

Cetco Energy Services is strengthening its market leadingposition in compact �otation units, with the introductionof a new CrudeSep technology - CrudeSep DGF. The newunits, along with CrudeSep IGF, complement our existingproduct range of water treatment technologies; which hasalready achieved an outstanding global track record in both sales and performance. The CrudeSep IGF and DGF units may be installed as stand-alone vessels or in series.While their modes of operation are quite di�erent, the units are synergistic in series. The CrudeSep IGF is cyclicand is excellent in solids removal, while the CrudeSep DGFis particularly e�ective with chemicals. CrudeSep units contain no moving parts within the vessels which minimises wear and tear.

CrudeSep IGF (Induced Gas Flotation)

CrudeSep IGF is a compact �otation unit that enhancesthe oil separation process through induced gas �otationand cyclic �ow and is ideal for solids removal.

The CrudeSep IGF has two distinct working zones: theupper cyclic gas/oil contacting and coalescence zone; andthe lower zone, which is used for gas disengagement priorto water discharge. The oil discharge from the CrudeSepIGF is on a batch basis which is achieved by a bucket andweir arrangement taken down the centre of the vessel, viaan oil accumulation riser with level control to a diaphragmpump.

CrudeSep DGF (Dissolved Gas Flotation)

The CrudeSep DGF is a multi-staged vessel that enhances oil/water separation by injecting dissolved gas bubbles from a pump into the vessel via a di�user - promotingoptimal dispersion. Bubble size is approximately 30um.Achieving such a small bubble size allows more oil droplet �otation.

Using applied �uid dynamics, the CrudeSep DGF has nomoving parts, and achieves gas/oil coalescence by creatinga multi-stage e�ect within the vessel to leverage the overall performance. Smaller gas bubbles and oil dropletsmay be pulled towards the base of the vessel by the downward �ow of the water. Fluid dynamics are such thatmost of these are recovered by the various internal stages,with the cycle continuing until oil droplets are largeenough to rise to the top of the veseel where they areskimmed o�.

Hi-Flow ProcessCetco Energy Services Hi-Flow Process is a simple androbust system that can treat high rates of free oil in water, allowing the operator to discharge �uid back into the environment in compliance with legislative requirements.The Hi-Flow Process utilises a polymeric coalescing media.The �uid is forced through the media where the physicalpathways and media interactions force free oil to mergeand release for accelerated gravitational separation. TheHi-Flow Process can treat oil in water from 1,000ppm inlet to 10ppm discharge on a constant basis for a nominal period of 6 months without media replacement. The Hi-Flow Process can handle small to large volumes of oilywater from 275 BWPD trial systems to more than 20,000 BWPD skid mounted units. It is excellent at processingtemporary slugs of high concentration oil in water whilststill achieving discharge speci�cations.

CrudeSorb

Cetco’s CrudeSorb technology is a proprietary media based on resin, polymer and clay chemistry. It is extremely e�cient at removing oil, grease and soluble organics from water systems. CrudeSorb has been developed for the separation of oil and heavy metals from water and is packaged in canisters with a perforated central core for use in Radial Flow Vessels (RFV).

The process �uids pass initially through the sock �lter units to remove solids then enters the main CrudeSorb media vessel where the Free, Emulsi�ed and Dissolved Organics/Hydrocarbons are adsorbed onto the CrudeSorb media. The vessels can be arranged for series or parallel �ow con�guration to enable continuous or batch treatment.

Smart TankSeparators

Cetco’s Smart Tanks are surge vessels with twin compartments. The unit contains the required piping andmanifolds for inlet/bypass, control devices and safetyrelief systems. The tanks are also equipped with calibrationstrips.

The pressure rating of the surge tank is 17.2 bar, which provides a closed system while the works are performed,under normal conditions. This is also useful when usingthe tank as a holding vessel or for proving meters duringa test. The design of the surge tank also makes it possibleto use as a second stage, two phase separator with the addition of gas and �uid metering. The unit is very e�ectivewhere a longer retention time is required for good separation of gas and �uids.

Another advantage of the surge tank is that the design allows the operator to keep back pressure on transfer pumps for production disposal.

Cetco provide duplex cartridge �ltration units for a widerange of �ltration applications, from solids removal �ltersto hydrocarbon polishing. Typically, our duplex cartridge�ltration units �lter solids between 2 and 80 microns insize. Our units are also available for operation in high pressure and/ or high temperature environments.

Hoses & PipeworkCetco can supply hoses for use with Cetco equipment insizes varying from 1”, 2”, 4” & 6”. 1” hoses terminate in either Macdonald or Crowsfoot connections, 2” hosesterminating in Camlock & 150# �anged connections. 4”hoses terminating in 150# �anged hoses and 6” hosesterminating in 150# �anged connection. Hoses range invarying pressure from 10 bar - 40 bar for the 6” hose.

Chemical ContainersCetco have 2 x OS72 tanks in our rental �eet, these vessels are rated to 13.8 bar. These tanks can be used as separation vessels or can be used for bulk media (Carbon& CrudeSorb). In addition, one of the OS72 tanks has anintegral heating element for heating scale dissolver, etc.

Pumps - Diaphragm & CentrifugalWe have 2” & 3” diaphragm pumps in the �eet which can be used for draining vessels etc but if the �ow requiredallows, can act as a feed pump.
