There are many reasons why we should walk instead of driving. First, it saves the planet. It also saves money on petrol. It even saves us parking fees besides having to spend time looking for a parking space. Another reason why we should walk is that it is a good form of exercise. It helps to burn calories and keeps us fit and strong. Sometimes walking can be faster than driving. We often underestimate the time we spend driving, thinking that a 10-minute journey may only take two minutes.
