In five years time

In ten years time When youre 40 or 50

Write some note about your hopes and ambitions at each these times. Tell the class.

The next year I'm going to restart studies. I had a long holiday.

In the next 5 years. Im going finish my career and get my professional title.

In 10 years' time I would like make my mastery on other country, Illcome back to

Per and Ill hard work

When Im 40 I hope have a permanent job and a beautiful family, a great wife, 2

children and one cat, on a big house, of course I going to design it

What is she not sure about? What are her hopes and dreams?

My dreams for the future

Hello everyone. My names Susannah Susie for short.

Im20 years old. At the moment Im in my second year

at art school and often dream about my future. I have

big plans and Id like to tell you a bit about them.

My more immediate plans are holyday plans. Im going

to Visit my brother whos working in Australia. My

mother and I are going to spend Christmas whit him in

the summer sun. Im very excited about that.

When I return I need make a final decision about which

Couse to study next year. Im still not sure Im thinking

of doing either fashion design or landscape design. Its

difficult because Im interested in both clothes and

gardens. If I choose landscape Idlike work whit my

friend, jasper. Hes brilliant whit gardens and wevealready worked on two together. It was great fun and we

get on very well.

In five or ten years timeI would like to have my own

business and work for myself like my father. He has his

own building business. Perhaps Ill do a business course

after I finish art school.

Of course, one day I hope to marry and have children.

Ideally before Im 30, but I cant plan when Ill meet the

right person and I havent got a boyfriend at the

moment.

In my dreams I see myself at 40 running a successful

gardening company whit about 20 employees. Ill designbeautiful gardens for beautiful people. Ill have a

beautiful house, two beautiful children, and of course a

husband whos as successful as I am. Who knows, it

could even de jasper!

What are her definitive plans?

4. Rewrite the first paragraph about you. Read it aloud.

The next year I going to restart my studies, I going keep studding English. My family and I

are going to travel to the jungle.

5. Write a talk about your future plans and dreams. Mark pauses and words you want to

stress. Practice reading it aloud. Answer any questions.
