There is a swimming pool. C’è una piscina.There are three buildings. Ci sono tre edifici.

Forma negativa: there is not/isn’t – there are not/aren’tThere isn’t a tennis court. Non c’è un campo da tennis.

Forma interrogativa: Is there…? / Are there…?Are there many boys? Ci sono molti ragazzi?No, there aren’t. No, non ce ne sono.
