United Grease & Lubricants Co. LLC with its brand name SCOPE was established in the

year 2001. The plant has under gone a series of developments and expansion. The plant

has the capacity of 70,000 MT per annum for blending & filling of lubricants and 4000

MT & 1000 MT per annum of Lithium based and calcium based greases respectively and

is located in new industrial area in Ajman – UAE.

United grease & lubricants has blossmed to a highly specialized, well integrated establishment with a reputation for making and marketing quality products. The plant is certified for Integrated Management System (IMS) which includes ISO 9001-2008, ISO 14001-2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007. The American Gear Manufacturers (AGMA) has issued specifications and recommendations for gear lubricants used in various types of gear application. AGMA standard 250.04 details specifications for rust and oxidation inhibited (R &O) and extreme-pressure (EP) lubricants used in enclosed gear drives.

74. PRODUCT STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE

It is absolutely necessary to store products properly to ensure quality. It is recommended to store lubricants indoors at moderate temperature away from dust, moisture and other containing sources.

If out door storage cannot be avoided, drums must be laid on their sides with bungs horizontal in order to prevent migration of moisture.

Mixing of oil should be avoided as same oil formulations are incompatible.

The majority of scope products remain suitable for use up to 3 years when stored properly. This period can be reduced to 2 years or less if stored out doors.
