Article 1-All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.

Articles 1-10• all are equal and equal

treatment• No one should be subject to

torture• Everyone has the right to

recognition as a person before the law

Articles 11 and 12• innocent until proved guilty • and everyone is protected

against arbitrary interference Articles 13-15

• Right to a nationality• Ability to travel to other

countries• Reside wherever and still be

allowed back into the country of origin

nationality, religion or race and both spouses have to agree

Article 17-23• Right to freedoms such

as speech, peace, take part in government and work

Article 24• “Everyone has the right

to rest and leisure, including reasonable limitation of working hours and periodic holidays with pay”

Article 25-30• Everyone has social

responsibilities and duties to keep equality in the nation
