Home to more than half a million people, Sheffield is a vibrant major city with award-winning theatres, two major football clubs, and one of the most exciting music scenes in the UK. The city hosts the World Snooker Championships, a major music festival attracting more than 60,000 people and the UK’s premier documentary film festival.

Sheffield is centrally located in the UK so it’s easy to travel to other cities and places of interest. You can reach Manchester by train in 45 minutes and London in two hours. Kyubin Do completed the NCUK International Foundation Year at IEN Institute in South Korea and came to Sheffield to study BSc (Hons) Information Technology Management for Business. He successfully applied for a 12 month placement as a project assistant at Samsung SDS Europe in London.
