Behind the establishment of the Dr. K.N. Modi

University are the seeds of caring and social

s e r v i c e s o w n b y o n e o f I n d i a ' s m o s t

distinguished sons. Late Dr. Kedar Nath Modi (1922-

2005), leading industrialist and philanthropist, set up the

foundation that, continues to carry on his work of

promoting education, establishing community welfare

facilities even supporting the needy and less privileged.

For 75 years the torch of commitment has been burning

It is a known fact that over the past decade, career opportunities have increased dramatically owing to strong economic

growth. Despite this, a large number of fresh graduates fail to find suitable employment as they are unable to meet the

skill and productivity level expected by the industry. This skill gap is a combination of lack of technical skills as well as

SPECIAL SCHOLARSHIP (APPLICABLE FOR FIRST YEAR ONLY)

Ÿ Rajasthan Domicile: 10% of Tuition Fees .

Ÿ Sibling Discount: 20% of Tuition Fees only on the

second admission irrespective of the course on the

second/ last admission. In case third sibling the

scholarship would be give only to the third @10%

sibling in addition to the scholarship to second

sibling.

Ÿ Girl Candidates: Under Beti Bachao-Beti Padao

Scheme Scholarship offered is:

Ÿ 15% Less than 75% on tuition Fee on marks in

qualifying exam.

Ÿ 25% More than 75% on tuition Fee on marks in

qualifying exam.

Ÿ Ex-Service Man, Wards of war widows: 10% of

Tuition Fees additional scholarship would be @5%

given to the Bravery award winners (Ashok Chakra

& National bravery award).

Ÿ Sports Person: 30% scholarship for National level

players & for state level players.20%

Ÿ Staff Blood relation or Staff (Himself/Herself) will

get Scholarship on the entire course tuition fees 30%

DKNMU will get Scholarship on the Tuition 50%

Fees of 1st Year if they takes admission for Higher

Studies in DKNMU and candidate availing such

scholarship will not be entitled for any special

scholarship mentioned above.

Ÿ 10% Scholarship in First Year Tuition Fee for

students of .'Kashmir Migrants'

Ÿ To avail scholarship in a particular category the

relevant proof to support your application must

be submitted at the time of admission.

Ÿ The student availing Government Sponsored

Scheme, will not be entitled for Scholarship under

any other category.

Ÿ The Scholarship given/sanctioned will stand

withdrawn, if the student fails to deposit the

remaining dues within the stipulated time set by

the University.

Ÿ The scholarship given/sanctioned will stand

withdrawn, if the student is found to be using

Rude/Foul language, unfair means during

Examinat ion, his /her conduct is found

unsatisfactory & not following the rules &

regulations set by Dr. K. N. Modi University.

Ÿ To avail Scholarship students has to complete the

entire course from university. In case student

withdraws in between, then Scholarship shall be

recovered from the candidate.

For all programs on the basis of qualifying percentile or percentage will be as follows:

To recognise excellence achieved by the students the merit scholarship being offered to all meritorious students.

The students are expected to excel in their academic performance after being admitted to a particular course

offered at the University.

Note: All meritorious scholarship will continue for the entire course duration subject to maintain the benchmark

of minimum 80% or equivalent grade to avail Scholarship. The decree in scholarship percentage will be as per

the slab and percentage or equivalent Grade in subsequent year if there is any downfall.
