RECRUITMENT NOTICE 1. MG & G Area Provost Unit, Colaba, Defence Station, Colaba, Mumbai -05 on behalf of Government of India, Ministry of Defence invites applications category for the post of CIVILIAN PAINTER for Indian National (Other Backward Caste) eligible candidates :-
(a) Essential Qualification :-(i) Matriculation or equivalent. (ii) Industrial Technical Institute Certificate or National Certificate Trade Vocational Training or Ex-trade apprentices. (iii) One year experience in the trade from any recognized institution.
(b) Pay Scale :- In the pay scale of Rs 19,900/- (7th Central Pay Commission) plus allowances as admissible to central Government Employees.
2. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS (a) Minimum 18 years & maximum 25 years of age as on 21 days from the date of publication of advertisement.
(b) Screening process to be followed such as applicability of written/practical test/oral interview as applicable to the post. (c) Applications completed in all respect alongwith attested copies of necessary certificates/documents to be submitted to the Commanding Officer of MG & G Area Provost Unit, Colaba Defence Station, Colaba, Mumbai- 400005 on or before 21 days from the date of publication of this advertisement.
(d) Candidates must paste the latest passport size photograph on the top and right side of the application form. Applications received after the due date, incomplete and essential certificates not found attached shall be rejected. Subject:- Engagement of Act Apprentices under Apprentice Act, 1961

As per instructions given in Railway Board's letter No. E(MPP)/2009/06/14
dated 06.10.2015 it is proposed to make a panel of candidates through on line
process for act apprentice training under Apprentice Act, 1961 for total seats
of 388 of Wagon Repair Workshop, Jhansi and total sheets of 25 of Rail
Spring Workshop (Sithauli).
Eligible candidates may register their application and apply w.e.f.
15.02.2017 to 17.03.2017 on website www.mponline.qov.in.

*Reservation is as per Rly Bd’s LNo.-E(MPP)2002/6/10 Dtd-17.06.11, the
reserved places are- SC 15%, ST 7.5% and OBC 27%. In which 4.5% minorities are
included. If the prescribed number of person belonging either to the
Scheduled Castes or to the scheduled Tribes are not available, then the seats
so reserved for them may be filled by persons belonging to the Scheduled
Tribes or vice-versa as the cases may be and if the prescribed seats can not
be filled even in the above given manner then the seats so lying unfiled may be
filled by persons not belonging to the Scheduled castes or Scheduled Tribes,
Similarly the seats remaining unfilled by OBC candidates be filled by unreserved
category.
**03% of total seats are reserved for Ex. Service Men, their children and
children of armed Force Personnel, as per details mentioned below-
a) Children of decease/disabled Ex-Serviceman including those killed/disabled
during peace time.
b) Children of ex-serviceman.
c) Children of serving jawans.
d) Children of serving officers.
e) Ex-serviceman.

*** 03 % of total seats will be reserved for physically handicapped candidates.
Only loco motor or Cerebral palsy (OH) who suffers from not less than
40% of relevant disability and hearing handicapped having 60 decibels or more
in the better ear in the conversational range of frequency are eligible to apply
A physical handicapped person who wants to avail the benefit of reservation
would have to submit a disability certificate issued by a competent authority
i.e. Medical Board constituted by the Central or State Government
****A Selected candidates has to acquire a registration no. after having been
registered on the web site www.apprenticesip.gov.in of RDAT before starting
the training otherwise his candidature will be terminated.
2 Training Period and Training Place- Training period will be as prescribed
By. Railway Board's letter dated-22.07.02 (RBE No-119/2002). Training place
will be Wagon Repair Workshop, NCR, Jhansi and Rail Spring Karkhana
Sithouli.
ELIGIBILITY
3. Age limit-
a) Candidate must have completed 15 years and should not have completed
24 years of age as on 01.01.2017
b) The upper age limit may be relaxed by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates
and 3 years in case of OBC candidates
c) For physically handicapped persons, upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years
4. Educational qualification - The candidate must passed 10th class examination
or its equivalent (under 10+2 system) with minimum 50 % marks
and essential ITI passed certificate in related trade from a recognized Industrial
Training Institute affiliated to NCVT. Certificate issued by principal is
not accepted.
5. Stipend- Stipend will be paid as per instructions issued by Railway Board
from time to time
6 Fee-
I)-A bank draft of Rs 100/- (One Hundred Rupees.) in favour of WAO, NCR,
Jhansi and payable at Jhansi as an application fee. may be sent with the printout of
application by ordinary/registered/speed post. The SC.ST, Physically
handicapped and Women candidates are relaxed from application fee
II)- A portal fee of Rs 70/- (Seventy Rupees) will compulsorily be paid online by all candidates.
Mode of Application- Willing candidates may register and apply on the website www.mponline.qov.in.
Necessary Instructions-
I)- The following information and documents should have been prepared themselves by the candidates applying
online. It is also advised to the candidates before applying in the interest of them that they apply only as per advertisement.
They should carefully read the advertisement. If they satisfy and ensure that they full fill the terms and conditions
applicable and have all the requisite documents at the time of applying, then they should register and apply on
www.mponline.gov.in. Candidate has to full fill his particulars in one time and after full filled it completely he should
see its Preview. Edit option also available for fulfilling the correct datas a registration no. will be allotted after submit the
form. Draw printout of filled application and send it to Chief Workshop Manager (P) NCR, Jhansi (UP) 284003 with a
bank draft of Rs. 100/- in favour of WAO, NCR, Jhansi & payable at Jhansi as an application fee by ordinary/registered/
speed post and keep one copy for their record. Applicants should certainly write his name, father's name and application
registration no. at left side on overleaf of the bank draft so that the same may be convenient to link the applicant.
II)- No other documents be enclose such as educational/technical qualification, caste and another certificate connect
with the hard copy except to bank draft in original.
Note- The above process is being followed only for depositing the application fee, each candidate has to full fill his
application compulsorily online.
Essential Document-

should not over to 200 kb.
Ill)- Applicant's name and father’s name spellings should be the same as given in High School Certificate.

VII)- For thumb impression used printer ink (Black).
VIM)-Two physical identification.
X)- Scan the matriculate and ITI marksheet and SC/ST/OBC certificate
XI)- Applicant should scan any one copy out of Aadhaar Card/Voter Card/Pan Card/Driving License as a proof of his
identification.
6.1- Before applying online applicant should ensured himself that he is full filling desired qualification and another
terms and conditions. Administration has the right to cancel the application at any stage of recruitment, if candidate not
full filling the requisite qualification and if recruited, the candidature of such candidate will be terminated without any
information.
6.2- Any particular of the information filled in online is later found incorrect/Fake during course of tallying the certificate, the
candidature will be terminate without any notice.
7. Such Candidate those does not qualified ITI through NCVT are not eligible for applying and in regards to such
application any correspondence made by any person will not be considered
8. Selection Process- Instruction given by head quarter/NCR/ALD as per letter No. 797-E/Training/Act a p p / 1 9 6 1 /
NCR/2013 Part-11 dtd. 23.11.15 are as under-
(i) The selection of Act Apprentice for training will be done on the basis of merit list prepared from the candidates who
have applied S eligible in reference to the notification. There will be no written exam or interview/oral exam in this
selection.
(ii) Merit list will be prepared on the basis of percentage of total marks obtained in 10th or equivalent examination as
well as average marks obtained in ITI by a candidate from recognized educational board/institute.
(iii) The calculation of percentage of marks will be based on the total mark obtained in 10th or its equivalent examination from
an educational Board/Institute and not on the basis of mark of any subject or a group of subject.
(iv) If more than one candidates gets equal marks/percentage in 10th examination and average mark in ITI or its
equivalent examination, than the elder candidates whose date of birth is earlier will be higher in rank than the other
whose date of birth come later. The above information will be computerized and merit will be prepared like this
(v) Select list will be prepared Trade/Community/Category (reservation Category) wise out of final select list of combined
merit.
(vi) The candidate equal to 1.25 times of the number of slots for Act Apprentices' shall be called for verification of
original testimonials and their physical fitness. A final merits list of relevant trade will be prepared equal to the no. of
slots in the descending order of average percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in matriculation. (Matriculation
or 10 class in 10+2 examination system and ITI)
(vii) The candidates will be declared fit for training after being given the medical fitness certificate on successful
medical examination by Authorized Railway Medical officer. If the candidate fail in medical examination, his/her candidature will
be cancelled and his/her any claim for training will not be accepted
(viii) No Daily allowance or Travelling allowance will be admissible to candidates came for verification of documents
(ix) Hostel/Residential facility will not be provided to selected candidates and as per apprentice Act, 1961 the selected
candidates have to arrange themselves boarding and lodging arrangements during course of training period
(09.1) The merit list of selected candidates will be uploaded on the website www.ncr.indianrailway.gov.in of NCR
8 candidates included in eligible list will be informed by post. No. correspondence will be made in this regard to other
candidates
(09.2) It is made clear that Indian railways will not have any binding to give employment to Apprentices. As per para
10 of schedule 5 (II) of apprenticeship Rules-1992 (notified on 15.07.1992) government will not be responsible to give
employment to trained act Apprentices. (Authority-Railway Board L.No. E(MPP)/2009/6/14 Dtd. 06.10.15.
(09.3) The candidates who have already completed their training under Apprentice Act, 1961 from any institute/
establishment are not eligible to apply under this notification
10. Agreement of Training- The selected candidate or his/her guardian (in case of minor) has to execute an apprenticeship
contract or agreement with employer before apprenticeship training as prescribed under the Apprentice Act,
1961.
11. After completion of training period apprentice agreement will be lapsed. After completion of training every apprentice
have to go to Trade Test on all India level conducted by Director General, Employment & Training. Ministry of
Labour & Employment, New Delhi. Passed candidate will get national trade certificate but have no guarantee of employment
after training
12. The decision of administration regarding selection of candidates and their training will be final. If later on at any
stage it is found that selected candidate has given wrong/false information to his/her integrity then the candidate will be
dismissed at any stage without giving any notice

Candidates will themselves be responsible to furnish the correct particular of information during process to
apply through online if any errors found on part of candidate during course of applying, the administration of

Note-
Candidates should kept the printout of filled online application themselves carefully so that this can be
pursued for verification of documents while calling on by this office.
Candidate will have to be attended while called upon with printout of application, receipt of fee and all certificate of
technical/education/cast certificate/photo and Identification Card (Aadhaar Card) in original as well as one
copy of all above documents attested by Gazetted Officer. No candidates will be included in verification process
without having printout of application and original educational/technical certificate. If any policy make a changes
