Introduction

Welcome to the University of Gloucestershire. Baxter Storey are committed to consistently delivering the highest standard of hospitality catering. Our food offer is intrinsically linked to the service standards which we set, and we will deliver a prompt and discreet service to you.

We are delighted to present our Residential Menu which gives an indication of the services available. Our menus change regularly and are influenced by the seasonality of ingredients to ensure best quality and value.

The University of Gloucestershire has an institutional commitment to sustainability and is a formally recognised sector leader. Our Sustainable Food Policy seeks to reduce food miles, promote fresh and locally sourced food as well as healthy, organic, free range and Fairtrade products.   Baxter Storey has a reputation for delivering fresh, quality and sustainably sourced food. Sustainability principles are ingrained in both our working practices and menu selections. We believe that by placing sustainable behaviour at the heart of our business it forces the organisation to think differently, be more creative and innovative in how it delivers its services.

We will be pleased to discuss any aspect of your catering requirements with you, and if you have any special requests, we will do our utmost to ensure that these are accommodated. In support of this we are always happy to tailor or create a menu to suit your budget or special occasion.

All prices quoted are per person unless otherwise stated and are based on a minimum booking of 20 covers, Monday – Friday. An additional 20% will be added if your function is on a weekend or bank holiday and if covers are below 20. We are unable to cater for any requests lower than 10 covers..

Equipment Hire

If your event requires bespoke equipment then we will pass on the cost incurred from our supplier. 

Labour

Large events (100 covers or more), and those falling outside of normal working hours may incur an additional labour charge.  Any additional costs will be calculated prior to your event.

Château Larrivet Haut-Brion Pessac Leognan 2004 (France) - £29.50Currants and cherries along with a hint of burning embers are followed by a wine possessing excellent fruit, medium body, sweet tarrin and a seductive, lush personality

Esperanza Sauvignon Blanc Mendoza Valley 2010/2011 (Argentina) - £7.95 Concentrated aromas of zesty grapefruit, pineapple, and lime with hints of passion fruit and a crisp, dry finish

Pinot Grigio 'Bacaro' IGT Pavia 2010 (Italy) - £9.95 Hints of perfume, pears, stone fruit and lime, as well as the occasional floral note make this a light and easy drinking wine

Pouilly-Fumé 'Les Cascadelles' Caves de Pouilly-sur-Loire 2010 (France) - £15.95Packed with classic sauvignon blanc flavors of gooseberries, orange blossom and citrus fruit backed by a crisp, elegant mineral character on the finish

Cloudy Bay Chardonnay Marlborough 2008 (New Zealand) - £29.50 A complex nose that ranges from figs and lemon butter to more savory elements of fresh hay with hints of butterscotch. The palate is substantial and rounded with toasty complexity and a long finish

La Serrana Rosé D.O Cariñena 2010 (Spain) - £8.95 An intense pink wine with plenty of juicy berry fruit. Strawberry and raspberry flavors are complemented by a creamy texture and crisp refreshing acidity

La Grille Rosé d'Anjou Gwenaël Guihard 2010 (France) - £9.95 Bottled with a light natural spritz, the wine has a refreshing, summery zing. Strawberry and hints of peach fill the palate, brought out by the wines laid-back, off-dry demeanor
