International students find several ways to help pay for their education at UNo. If you have a 3.0 grade point average, leadership experience, and plan to enroll at UNo on an F-1 or J-1 visa, you are eligible to apply for a scholarship. Applications are accepted year-round – apply online today:world.unomaha.edu/admissions

Uno advantage scholarship

International undergraduate and graduate students can pay resident tuition rates. renewable each year, Advantage scholarships are worth $7,600 to $9,600 per year.

new international studentscholarship

This one-time scholarship is worth $6,000 per academic year and is available to undergraduate and graduate students. Partial grants of $3,000 are sometimes awarded.

Current international student scholarship

Currently enrolled students can receive $700 per semester. To apply, you must have a 3.0 grade point average, show leadership experience, and demonstrate financial need.

Departmental scholarships

Check with your academicadvisor about scholarshipsavailable in your area of study.

Graduate assistantships

Assistantships cover tuition and fees for the academic year and living expenses for 12 months. UNo offers assistantships in many disciplines. Inquire with your graduate program advisor about these opportunities.

on-Campus employment
