WORLD CLASSThe Global Water for Food Institute was established at UNL with a $50 million gift from the Robert B. Daugherty Foundation. This multidisciplinary center for research, education and policy analysis focuses on the global challenge of producing more food with less water.

QUALITYOn July 1, 2011, UNL joins the Committee on Institutional Cooperation (CIC). The CIC is a consortium of Big Ten institutions and the University of Chicago. It leverages faculty, funding, facilities, investments and ideas to help the member institutions compete and succeed.
