The architect designed the exterior precast spandrels with a clean sharp lines on a flat surface panel .The spandrels are supported on the exterior face of the columns to give a continuous horizontal band. The precast concrete stairwells were enclosed with clay brick on three sides and faced in a clear glass curtain which took on the lines matching the precast spandrels The curtain wall gives a clear open view into the stairwell for security. The 280,000 sq. ft. garage was constructed with 864 pieces of precast- prestressed concrete. This included double tees, beams, columns, litewalls, shearwalls, spandrels and stairwell units. The layout consisted of four bays of which two were sloped parking ramps to best suite the building space for maximum parking.. Clean spans, unobstructed views architecturally designed, cost effective, low maintenance building are some of the strong points which the owners are looking for parking garages. The back side of the garage was faced with field laid brick to blend in with houses on an adjacent street.
