OCCASIONAL ADDRESS

Professor Grant Harman, MA (Hons) NE, PhD A.N.U .• will deliver the Occasional Address.

Profe$S()r Harman was appointed Professor and Head, Centre for Administrative and Higher Education Studies, University of New England in February, 1985. Prior to that he was Reader at the Cenrre for Study of Higher Education at the University of Melbourne from 1979 to 1985. Previously he held a number of positions at the Australian National University and other universities. He has also held a number of visiting appointments at prestigious universities both in the USA and Canada, and has acted as a consultant to several Commonwealth enquiries into education.
