Intern - Global Operations - Strategy & Programs

Purpose:

Create the Moments that Matter experience for the interns and more support for the line

managers, build future pipeline

Key Responsibilities and Projects:

Support execution of cross-functional global projects within our organization

Support data analysis, creating status reports and presentations as well as other project

management tasks such as leading individual work streams / packages

Drive the progress analysis for large strategic projects and the development of progress

reporting capabilities

Support development of processes, structures and frameworks that support the

implementation of smart solutions to improve the status quo

Intern - Labeling & Handling Projects

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Our Labeling & Handling team works with Global Customers, Brand Design, Product

Development and Operations as well as with the Liaison Offices (LO) to ensure that the labeling

and packaging needs of our Brands, subsidiaries and retailers in the markets are met for all our

products.

During this 6-months internship, you will support a team of experts on projects and daily

operations related to label, hangtag and packaging developments and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Projects

Support the team leader in global projects related to label, hangtag and packaging

developments and process improvements.

You will be involved in several phases of the project lifecycle from analysis and planning to

implementation.

Purpose:

Provide PO Management support globally in a courteous and professional manner, with the aim

to optimize customer satisfaction

Support analysis over the current process flow to identify opportunities on process

improvement

Prepare and develop reports to support daily operations

Participate in PO management processes through workflow tools to achieve effective

operations;

Ensure timely resolution of PO management requests in workflow tools in order to fulfill

Intern - Global IT - Corporate Marketing & Operations

Our Global IT Product Creation & Sourcing team drives and accelerates adidas’ concept-to-

shelf process through innovative technologies to improve the availability of all our products.

During this internship, you will work in a team of experts on digital processes, methods and

tools for our Sourcing & Manufacturing colleagues. You will be involved in several phases of the

project lifecycle including user requirement, realization, testing, go-live preparation and sustain

phase support.

Key Tasks:

Responsible for user requirement collection and business analysis

Work closely with key stakeholders to optimize the best outcome

Liaise with internal project management team and external IT service provider

Prepare training material and documents

Intern – Group Finance – FOB Forecasting

Purpose:

Support Free On Board (FOB) Forecasting - Researching and tracking macroeconomic

information to support better FOB forecasting process

Support Purchase Price Variance (PPV) analysis - Using SAP and other internal systems for

data extraction and supporting various PPV analysis

Key Responsibilities and Projects:

1) The Macroeconomic Business Intelligence (MBI) [30%]

Assist in researching and data mining for the Quarterly Macroeconomic Business

Intelligence Report

2) FOB/ Landed Cost tracking and analysis [30%]

Assist in tracking various key cost components (e.g. material cost, minimum wages,

freight, duties)

Assist in any ad hoc FOB or landed cost analysis

Assist in preparing powerpoints for management presentation

3) PPV analysis [20%]

Support the preparation of forecast/month-end report for PPV analysis

Support to create PPV analysis model to extended markets

4) Mini Projects [20%]

Conduct analysis on trends of various commodity prices (e.g. oil) and their impact on

adidas FOB

Build a centralized and systematic tracking methodologies for various FOB components

(e.g. Foreign exchange rate, labor wages, material cost) across divisions (Footwear,

Apparel, A&G) to facilitate FOB forecasting

Candidate profile:

Studying Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain or Information

Technology degree. Good organization and communication skills

Strong English skills required

Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, especially in excel, access (e.g. query)

and PowerPoint

Strong analytical and systematic approach to handling numbers, information and

interpretation

Proactive mindset with the ability to think end-to-end

General knowledge in Micro and Macroeconomics

Knowledge of database management and BI application is a plus

Purpose:

Provide analytical support to the strategic analytics team within Apparel Costing.

Key Responsibilities:

Management of supporting analytics to key global initiates

Product Margin Enhancement yield efficiency tracking

Global Apparel Strategic Alliance cost competiveness modelling

Material costing reporting

Key Objectives:

Deliver qualitative, on time in full analytical support to the team.

Provide cuts of Global Apparel Strategic Alliance (GASA) data and proposals for change.

Purpose:

employees in diverse departments under our Group Functions in Asia Pacific.

Drive projects in helping the Human Resources team to achieve strategic goals and operational

excellence

Key Responsibilities and Projects:

Support and engage in global and regional HR projects of operational excellence

Assist in designing and organizing employee engagement events and activities

Maintain HR systems and prepare regular analytics reports

Support team and business communications

Handle daily correspondence

Participate in other HR routines and ad hoc assignments as and when required

Key Objectives:

Through actively participating in our recruitment activities and projects, you will have a first

taste and also learn about a market-leading Talent Acquisition approach

Key Responsibilities and Projects in bullet points:

Support Project Manager on various Talent Acquisition projects. E.g. conducting research,

consolidating information & analysis, preparing presentation materials, organizing events,

preparing team and business communications etc.

Projects include but not limited to e.g. University Strategy, Talent Acquisition Global

Alignment and Strategic Business Plan

Contribute ideas and participate in marketing adidas’ employer brand on social media, e.g.
