Názov projektu:

Trans-generačná umelecko-kultúrna platforma vo

vzdelávaní: T.A.P.E.

Projekt T.A.P.E. ponúkol starším i mladším ľuďom zo siedmich

zúčastnených krajín (Estónsko, Írsko, Taliansko, Litva, Poľsko,

Turecko a Slovensko) platformu na dialóg a kultúrnu komunikáciu

prostredníctvom umenia.

Ciele projektu:

• Umožniť medzigeneračné vzdelávanie prostredníctvom

štrukturovaného programu zloženého z umeleckých

a kultúrnych aktivít.

• Zvýšiť sebaúctu, sociálnu sebadôveru a vyhliadky na

budúce vzdelávanie všetkých účastníkov tým, že sa im

ponúkli formálne a neformálne vzdelávacie príležitosti

v oblasti komunikácií a umenia.

• Pomôcť im doceniť svoje vlastné skúsenosti a ich odlišnosť

od ostatných, či už od inej generácie alebo kultúry.

• Ponúknuť im príležitosti na pozitívnu interakciu

s účastníkmi, ktorí sa zúčastňovali podobných aktivít v

ďalších siedmich európskych krajinách.

Project T.A.P.E.

Project title:

Trans-generational Arts/Cultural Platform in Education:

T.A.P.E.

Project T.A.P.E. has offered older and younger people from

seven participated countries (Estonia, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania,

Poland, Turkey and Slovakia) a platform for dialogue and cultural

communication through the Arts.

Objectives of the project:

• To facilitate intergenerational learning through a

structured programme of artistic and cultural activities.

• To enhance the self-esteem, social confidence and future

educational prospects of all our participants, by offering

them formal and informal learning opportunities in

communications and the arts.

• To help them appreciate their own experience and the

difference of others, whether of different generation or

culture.

• To offer opportunities, by means of our WEB Platform, to

positively interact with participants undertaking

comparable activities in seven European countries.

Projekt T.A.P.E.

Starší účastníci projektu – seniori – boli v čase realizácie aktivít

projektu študentmi Univerzity tretieho veku Žilinskej univerzity

v Žiline. Vysoko motivovaní, formálne vzdelaní mladí ľudia

„pomocníci“ sa pripojili k starším v priebehu programu, ktorý

zahŕňal workshopy a rôznorodé umelecké formy.

Tento proces nám umožnil inovatívne, trans-generačné

prepojenie a dialóg, ktorý bol výzvou ako pre mladých, tak aj

pre starších účastníkov. Pomocou projektu T.A.P.E. sme pátrali po

udalostiach, ľuďoch, "kráse", ktorých existencia má priamy alebo

nepriamy vplyv na naše životy.

Prostredníctvom tvorivých stretnutí realizovaných 1 – 2 krát do

mesiaca sa zmiešané skupiny seniorov a mladých ľudí vydali „Po

stopách času“ ...

Project T.A.P.E.

Older participants – seniors – were at the time of realising the

project activities students of the University of Third Age of

University of Zilina. Highly motivated, formally educated young-

adult ‘helpers’ joined the older people during the programme

involving workshops and a variety of Art-forms.

This process enabled us innovative, trans-generational interface

and a dialogue, which was a challenge for both younger and

older participants. With the help of project T.A.P.E. we searched

for occasions, people, and „ beauty“, which existence has a

direct or indirect impact on our lives.

Through creative meetings realized 1 – 2 times a month mixed

groups of seniors and young people set to go in the footsteps of

„Time tracing“...

Stretnutie partnerov projektu na Slovensku

Počas fašiangov, vo februári 2009, sa na Ústave celoživotného

vzdelávania uskutočnilo tretie stretnutie všetkých partnerov

projektu T.A.P.E.. Na stretnutí manažéri jednotlivých partnerských

krajín spustili do prevádzky novú stránku projektu:

www.tapeeurope.org Zmes kultúr a jazykov vytvorila priestor

vhodný na medzigeneračné vzdelávanie prostredníctvom

učenia sa zručností. Seniori a mladí ľudia zo siedmich krajín spolu

na krátky čas komunikovali cez umeleckú aktivitu servítkovej

metódy – decoupage. Skupina slovenských seniorov tak mala

príležitosť vyskúšať interakciu s účastníkmi, ktorí sa zúčastňujú

podobných aktivít vo svojich krajinách.

Meeting in Slovakia

Meeting of project partners in Slovakia

During our „Fašiangy“ /Carneval / in February 2009 the third

meeting of all partners of the project T.A.P.E. at Institute of

Continuing Education took place. At the meeting of managers

of the individual partner countries put into operation a new

website the project: www.tapeeurope.org into service. Mixture of

cultures, languages and different age groups of people gave

the great opportunity for international and intergenerational

education through learning abilities. Seniors and young people

from seven different countries together in short period of time

communicated through art activity - napkin method –

decoupage. Group of Slovak seniors had a chance and

opportunity to try interaction with other members of project

T.A.P.E. who are taking part in similar activities in their home

countries.

Ako vznikla abeceda

Účastníci sa „preniesli v čase“ do doby kamennej a spolu

prežívali príbeh malého chlapca Noča, ktorý potreboval nechať

odkaz pre mamu a ľudí z osady. Keďže nerozprával, musel odkaz

nakresliť – tak, podľa tejto legendy, vznikla prvá abeceda –

kreslená. Seniori spolu s mladými študentmi vytvorili miešané

skupinky a pokúšali sa tiež zanechať svoj kreslený „odkaz“.

Ja a môj život

Bol názov stretnutia, v rámci ktorého účastníci skúmali svoje

životy, pátrali po tom, čo ich v životoch ovplyvnilo, spomínali na

udalosti, ktoré v ich životoch majú nezastupiteľné miesto.

Time tracing

How the alphabet originated

Participants „traveled back in time“ into the time of Stone Age

and they lived the story of a small boy Nocho, who had to leave

a message for his mother and people from his settlement.

Because he did not speak and write, he had to draw the

message – and so it is said that after this legend the first drawn

alphabet originated. Our seniors together with young students

formed mix groups and they tried to draw their own „message“.

It was the name of the meeting in which participants looked over

their lives, they recalled something which influenced their lives,

they reminded of some events, which were and still are very

Účastníci skupiny si navzájom rozprávali svoje životné príbehy,

seniori odovzdávali svoje skúsenosti študentom. Svoje výpovede

seniori transformovali do koláží, so zhotovením ktorých im

pomáhali študenti.

important for them. Each member said his or her life story and

they were exchanging their experiences of their lives with young

students. They transformed their life stories into collages with the

help of young students.

Maľby nájdené v jaskyniach

„Po stopách času“ sa skupina preniesla do obdobia, v ktorom

vznikali maľby v jaskyniach. V teoretickej časti boli predstavené

jaskynné maľby z Francúzska, Španielska a Škandinávie.

Následne, v praktickej časti, sa účastníci pokúsili svoje postrehy

a fantázie premeniť na umelecké diela maľovaním na kamene.

Drôt

Drotárstvo je špecifickým slovenským remeslom, ktoré vzniklo asi

v 18. storočí. Za miesto zrodu drotárstva sa všeobecne považuje

kedysi chudobná oblasť dnešného žilinského kraja. „Po stopách

času“ sa skupina seniorov preniesla do čias, kedy prví drotári

chodievali na vandrovky, opravovali kuchynský riad z domu do

domu, predávali výrobky z plechu a drôtu.

Paintings found in caves

„Time tracing“, the group transfered to the period in which

paintings were painted in caves. In the theoretical part they

were introduced to the cave painting from France, Spain and

Scandinavia. Consequently in the practical part the participants

tried to changed their imagination and transformed it into art by

painting on the rocks.

Wire

The wire bounding is a specific Slovak handcraft, which

appeared around the 18th century. The place of origin of the

wire bounding is generally considered to be in our region of Zilina

which was a very poor part of the country that time. By „Time

tracing“ our group of seniors was trying to move to that historical

period of time when the first tinkers /wire bounders/ were going

from one house to another house to repair old kitchen pots and

pans with wires, selling the stuff made of wire and metal plate.

All project partners met with this technique at the meeting in

Palermo, Italy.

Sklo

Ďalším zaujímavým materiálom, s ktorým sa skupina stretla bolo

sklo. Sklo vzniklo ako vedľajší produkt pri tavbe kovov. Podobne

ako drotárstvo má aj sklo na Slovensku dlhú tradíciu. Jeho pôvod

siaha do hrnčiarstva. Prvá písomná zmienka o najstaršej sklárni na

Slovensku pochádza z roku 1350. So sklom sa projektová skupina

stretla prostredníctvom techniky „maľovanie na sklo“.

Ako vznikol papier

Ako plynul čas stretnutia skupiny sa stávali výnimočnými. Seniori

sa viac poznávali, odkrývali pred sebou svoje príbehy, viac

medzi sebou komunikovali, pomáhali si navzájom. Dôkazom bolo

aj stretnutie „Po stopách času“, na ktorom seniori skúšali výrobu

papiera. Nové listy papiera sa vyrábali zo starých novín.

Glass

The next interesting material which our group met with, was glass.

Glass came out as a side product of a metal fusion. Similarly to

wire bounding also glass has a long tradition in Slovakia. Its origin

has roots in pottery. The first writing remark about the oldest glass

factory in Slovakia was mentioned in 1350. Our project group

met with glass by using the technique „painting on glass”.

How the paper originated

As the time went by meetings of our group were more and more

exceptional. Seniors and young students started to know each

other and they started to be more open, started to

communicate more, to talk about their lives and help each

other. As a proof of that was meeting in our „Time tracing“ where

seniors tried to make a paper. The new sheets of paper were

Na niektorých stretnutiach sa seniori zo skupiny presunuli z pozície

„učiacich sa“ do pozície lektorov a stretnutie si organizovali

a viedli sami.

At some meetings, some seniors of our project group changed

Hrnčiarstvo na Slovensku

Hrnčiarstvo patrí tiež medzi remeslá, ktoré majú na Slovensku

dlhú tradíciu. Tvárnosť hliny umožňuje človeku už od najstarších

čias výrobu rôznych umeleckých predmetov. V nich sa odráža

spôsob života, úroveň výroby, kultúra a umenie našich predkov.

Základom práce hrnčiarov bola príprava vhodnej suroviny,

hrnčiarskej hliny, z ktorej sa na hrnčiarskom kruhu vyrábali rôzne

predmety. Hotový výrobok bolo potrebné nechať vysušiť.

Následne sa výrobok glazoval a vypaľoval. Hrnčiarstvo patrí

medzi techniky náročné na čas. Po dosiahnutí potrebnej

zručnosti sa však stáva jednoduchou.

Pottery (ceramics) in Slovakia

Pottery belongs also to the handcraft which has a long tradition

in Slovakia. Since very old time plasticity of clay allows a man to

produce many differnt art products.

These products can reflect the way of life, level of production,

culture and art of our ancestors. The basic work of a potter was a

preparation of appropriate and available raw material, pottery

clay. Then they made many different products on the kickweel

from pottery clay. After that the product was left to dry. Then it

was neccessary to cover with varnish and bake. Potery belongs

to the techniques which needs time to have all done. After some

practice of these abilities all this work started to be easier.

Práca s prírodnými materiálmi

Prírodný materiál je obľúbený pri výrobe rôznych úžitkových, ale

aj dekoračných predmetov nielen do domácností, pretože je

ľahko dostupný a jeho použitie má na Slovensku dlhú tradíciu.

Working with natural materials

Natural material is very popular to make different utility and

decorative objects (not only for our homes), because it is

available and its use has a long tradition in Slovakia.

Výroba mydielok

Výroba mydielok je veľmi podobná práci s plastelínou, pretože

mydlo, po nastrúhaní a spojení sa s vodou, sa stáva tvárnym. Pod

vedením lektorky p. Hanky seniori vyrábali malé originálne

mydielka vhodné aj ako darovacie predmety.

Výroba vianočných pohľadníc

Tradíciu vianočného obdarovávania skupina pretvárala

pomocou skúsenej lektorky do vianočných pozdravov

a pohľadníc. V príjemnej atmosfére spolu seniori so študentmi

tvorili z papiera, následne sa obdarovávali navzájom,

pripravovali pozdravy pre svojich blízkych, či pre lektorov, ktorí

Making the soaps

Making the soaps is very similar to working with play dough,

because soap after grating and combined with water becomes

plastic. Under the leadership of lector - Mrs. Hanka - seniors

prepared small original soap as presents.

Making Christmas cards

One of Christmas traditions is to give or send a Christmas card, so

with the help of an expert lector they made their own Christmas

cards. Seniors and students made them from paper in a nice and

peaceful atmosphere and they gave them to each other, to

their friends, relatives, and also to their teachers from the

ich vyučujú na Univerzite tretieho veku. Dôraz vianočných

stretnutí bol kladený najmä na spomienky seniorov viažuce sa

k vianočným tradíciám, ich porovnávanie s prežívaním Vianoc

dnešnej mladej generácie.

Rovnako zaujímavou technikou bola aj výroba originálnych

sviečok. Použili sme pri tom zvyšky starých sviečok a farebné

voskové pastelky.

University of Third Age. The emphasis of the Christmas meetings

was placed on seniors´ reflections to the Christmas traditions,

their comparison to spending Christmas time by young

generation nowadays.

Jar evokuje v mysliach mnohých začiatok niečoho nového, nový

život, zmenu. „Stopy času“ skupinu seniorov na jar preniesli do

generácii prostredníctvom

Mrs. Maria taught other seniors technique „graphics“ which is

perfect means of relaxation and training soft motoric.

Spring decoration

Spring evokes in the minds of many people beginning of

something new, new life, change. „Time tracing“ transformed

a group of seniors transformed into the memories of their

childhood, youth. We made traditional painting of eggs

accessible to the young people through modern method –

napkin method, „decoupage“.

Aktivity

Paličkovanie

Paličkovanie je ručná práca, ktorá sa tvorí na textilnom valci

plnenom slamou alebo pilinami, osadenom na drevenom

podstavci. Na zhotovenie paličkovanej čipky sú potrebné

drevené paličky, na ktorých je navinutá priadza, malé nožničky,

priadza, priesvitný papier a špendlíky. Technika je náročná na

čas a pomôcky, seniorky zo skupiny sa počas spoločných

stretnutí naučili najmä jej základy.

Seniorky sa učia paličkovať

Batika

Poslednou technikou, ktorú sa mohli seniori zo skupiny naučiť,

bola „batika“. Pomocou nej sa zdobili látky už viac ako pred

2 000 rokmi. Podľa historikov batika pochádza z Číny.

Farbenie textilu seniorky zaujalo a na stretnutí vznikli naozaj

zaujímavé šály, obrusy či tričká.

Activities

Bobbin lace work

Bobbin lace work is handcraft work which is made on textile roll

filled with straw or sawdust attached to the wooden frame

(base). For making bobbin lace we need: woodensticks on

which cotton yarn is spooled, small scissors, cotton yarn,

transparent paper and pins. Technique is very demanding and

time and tools. Seniors from our group learned during their

meetings particularly its basic.

Batik

The last technique which our group of seniors and young

students could learn was „batik“. With this technique people

decorated fabric materials over 2000 years ago. According to

historians „batik“ comes from China.

Seniors were interested in textile dyeing and they made very nice

scarves, table-clothes and T-shirts at their batika workshop.

Pohybovo – relaxačné cvičenia

Počas celého trvania projektu sa uskutočňovali aj pohybovo –

relaxačné cvičenia. Seniori sa stretávali v telocvični, kde cvičili

pod vedením mladej fyzioterapeutky. Pri cvičeniach využívali fit

lopty a therabandy (špeciálne pásy, ktoré sa používajú na

spevnenie tela, zosilnenie svalov a zväčšenie ohybnosti).

Základom cvičení bolo aeróbne zaťaženie s dôrazom na pomalé

záťažové aktivity. Náročnosť cvičení fyzioterapeutka volila

s ohľadom na zdravotnú a výkonnostnú úroveň seniorov.

Varenie látky vo vriacej vode/ Cloth cooking in boiling water

Motional - relaxation exercises

During the whole length of the project there were running

motional – relaxation exercises. Seniors met in the gym, where

they were trained under leadership of yuong physiotherapist. At

exercising they used fit balls and therabands (special belts used

to fortify the body, strengthen the muscles and increase

flexibility). Principle of exercises was aerobian load with accent

on slow load activities. The physiotherapist chose level of

exercise difficulty with respect to the health and performance

level of seniors.

Pohybové aktivity mali charakter mierne dynamickej a rytmickej

srdcovej činnosti.

Cvičenie seniorov v telocvični

Čitáreň a diskusné fórum

Ako projekt trval, snažili sme sa spoločné stretnutia seniorov robiť

viac zaujímavými a rôznorodými. Takými sa stali aj posedenia

nad zaujímavými knihami a publikáciami. Venovali sme sa aj

vlastnej tvorbe, čítali sme úryvky z dobrých kníh a diskutovali sme

navzájom o literatúre. V rámci našich stretnutí sme realizovali aj

besedu so slovenskou spisovateľkou, redaktorkou a novinárkou

Zuzanou Kuglerovou.

Reading and discussion forum

As the project was going on we tried to make workshops and

meetings more and more interesting and various for seniors. So

meetings over the interesting books and publications were of

that kind. Seniors devoted themselves to their own creation, they

read passages of interesting books and discussed with each

other about literature. We also organized for them conference

with a Slovak writer, editor and journalist Zuzana Kuglerova.

Stretnutie so seniormi z Poľska

Po úspešnom a tvorivom projektovom stretnutí v Lihule v Estónsku,

ktorého sa zúčastnili traja naši seniori spolu s lektorkou, mala

ďalšia skupina seniorov možnosť navštíviť jedného z partnerov

projektu T.A.P.E. Lodzki Uniwersytet Trzeciego Wieku im. Heleny

Kretz. Seniori mohli porovnať prácu a možnosti štúdia poľských

seniorov na tamojšej Univerzite tretieho veku a u nás. Mohli sa

zúčastniť procesu výučby a tvorivosti v rámci hodiny maľovania.

Taktiež mohli spoznať motivácie seniorov v Poľsku ku štúdiu

a túžbe po vzdelávaní.

Meeting in Poland

Meeting with seniors in Poland

After our three seniors together with a lector had had

a successful and creative project meeting in Lihula in Esthonia,

other group of seniors had a chance to visit one of project

T.A.P.E. partners Lodzki Uniwersytet Trzeciego Wieku im. Heleny

Kretz. Seniors could compare the work and learning opportunities

of polish seniors at local University of Third Age in Poland and at

us. They could participate in the learning process and creativity

on painting lesson. Our seniors had also a chance to recognize

the motivation of Polish seniors to study and their ambition for

education.
