Dear Friend,I’m so glad you have reached out to us today. I want you to know that Dave and I love you and, more importantly, God loves you. He sees what you’re going through, He is with you, and He desires to help you right where you are.

Discouragement and depression are very real — they can cause us to feel isolated, alone and hopeless…like everything around us is falling apart. But the Bible tells us that God has a good plan for our future — plans for peace…plans to bring us hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

Psalm 34:18 says, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” When we are hurting, God hurts with us.

Right now, you may be facing what seems like an impossible situation. But I want you to know that God can make all things new. He can take your problem and turn it into something good.

We encourage you to take some time and read through the scriptures enclosed. I can tell you from experience that God’s Word will change your life — the way you think, the way you feel…and even how you see your future.

Friend, you have so much to live for. God loves you, and you are very special to Him. You are also special to us, and we want to help you in any way we can — and that includes praying for your needs. I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears. — Psalm 34:4 NLT

God will help me.

For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. — Jeremiah 29:11 AMP

For He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support...[Assuredly not!] — Hebrews 13:5 AMP For with God nothing is ever impossible. — Luke 1:37 AMP

Cast your burden on the Lord [releasing the weight of it] and He will sustain you. — Psalm 55:22 AMP

What time I am afraid, I will have confidence in and put my trust and reliance in You. — Psalm 56:3 AMP

God is my hope.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds [curing their pains and their sorrows]. — Psalm 147:3 AMP He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength. Those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power…they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. — Isaiah 40:29, 31 AMP

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.] — Matthew 11:28 AMP God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. — Psalm 46:1 NLT
