As the original rhythm section for the American rock band Heart, bassist Steve Fossen and drummer Michael Derosier are the powerful driving engine behind the band’s classic hits like “Barracuda”, “Straight On”, “Crazy On You”, “Magic Man”, “Even It Up”, “Dog & Butterfly”, “Heartless”, “Kick It Out”; the list goes on. Their incredible career with Heart established them in the annals of rock history, further proven by their 2013 induction into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame.

Now Fossen and Derosier are back together with HEART BY HEART, a new band dedicated to performing the legendary music of Heart in the most genuine way possible. Featuring powerhouse vocalist Somar Macek, multi-talented guitarist/keyboardist/vocalist Lizzy Daymont, and veteran guitarist Chad Quist, this incredible lineup considers it their responsibility to bring the songs to the stage in their original form, bringing back the memories by playing the songs as written and recorded.

When it comes to Heart music, having Mike and Steve on stage gives HEART BY HEART an authenticity no other band can match.

Set during the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644) in the ancient capital Peking, this amazing performance reenacts the annual royal Martial Arts tournament where the country’s finest warriors demonstrate their impressive skills and acrobats entertain the crowds with gravity-defying feats.

Direct from The People’s Republic of China, the Chinese Warriors of Peking is an acclaimed martial arts and acrobatic company whose award-winning “Slack Wire” act has toured the world with Cirque du Soleil. Under the direction of Qui Jian, this company of talented martial artists and acrobats provides an amazing demonstration of stage combat, traditional weapons handling, juggling, diving rings, contortion, and acrobatics.

Official Blues Brothers Revue will appear at Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Comples in Indiana, Pennsylvania on Thursday, November 8th. The duo, comprised of Kieron (Elwood Blues) Lafferty and Wayne (Jake Blues) Catania, were hand-picked by Aykroyd, Belushi Pisano and original Blues Brothers Musical Director, Paul Shaffer, to carry the torch first lit by the iconic duo of Aykroyd and John Belushi on Saturday Night Live in 1978 and later immortalized in the eponymous blockbuster 1980 film directed by John Landis.

Judy Belushi, referring to the duo as anything but an imitation of the original act said, “Kieron and Wayne are not imitators, they live the music and embody the characters. They understand the spirit of The Blues Brothers and revel in the joy of being Jake and Elwood”. Backed by the all star Intercontinental Rhythm & Blues Band, The Official Blues Brothers Revue is a multi-media interactive experience showcasing their undeniable talent in songs that comprise a virtual encyclopedia of rock, blues and soul.
