1 AC808 1. AC808 1.1 General Information The ETHERNET Hub AC808 is a stand alone device, which can be used universally as a Level-2 Hub in standard ETHERNET networks or ETHERNET Powerlink networks. It is suitable for 100 Mbps (fast ETHERNET) and 10 Mbps networks. The hub automatically recognizes the correct transfer speed and configures the respective channels to it. There is no communication between stations with 10Mbps and 100Mbps. The Ethernet connections are made using RJ45 connectors. A special feature is that the pin assignments can be crossed for the first channel using a switch, so that the same type of cable can be used for a connection between hubs (hub-hub) as is used between the hub and a network station. The hub can be installed horizontally or vertically on the mounting rail. 1.1 General Information
