Vision. The Elmwood District is a unique environment which accommodates and supports adiverse, but close-knit community. With its strategic location on the edge of Yorktowns

downtown, the Elmwood District can serve as a home to commuting professionals orsettling families. Elmwood Districts design is centered around 9th street, their former andnow newly renovated downtown area. The community center, offices, and retail spaces thatline it attract people of all ages. Workers and students fill the streets during the morning, and adolescents can enjoy the skate park, and community center activities during theafternoon. Adults can also be seen in the downtown area during the afternoon, shopping, running errands, or relaxing in the nearby cafs, bookstores, and parks. Younger children canbe found in the safe, residential park. Elmwood District offers evening recreationalopportunities that keep Elmwoods downtown vibrant and alive during the evening, withfamilies taking part in indoor or outdoor community events and friends enjoying dinner and

drinks together in the various restaurants. The large range of attractions offered in this areawill ensure that the community of Elmwood District has a place to mingle and congregateat all times of day.
