Cynthia and I welcome you to a celebration of the Lord Jesus Christ. We have gathered from across Kentucky to come together in worship of Him. Thank you for prioritizing this time together. Our convention theme of “Yoked Together with

Christ” embraces our vision as a Harvest-reaping Church. Your vision of the work of the Lord will be enlarged this weekend through Worship and the Word. Jesus’ invitation, “come unto me ~ take my yoke…”, is a call to all to join together in ministry. The challenge confronting the Church is to be prepared to respond with a renewed Last Days passion to this charge. When you leave this celebration on Saturday, may you leave with a sur-rendered heart to carry the gospel to the ends of your world. May your heart be so surrendered to His personal invitation of “follow me…” that we become his agents of change; changing our homes, our churches, our communities and our state. ~ Gary & Cynthia Smith

Greetings to all the Wonderful Saints of Kentucky.

It is my privilege to send this greeting to you as you are gathered together for the State Convention of the Church of God of Prophecy in Kentucky. We thank God for each of you and the progress you are making to win the lost to Jesus. I pray this time together at this convention will be a time of renewal and a time to celebrate all that God has done in indi-vidual lives and in the Church Body. I pray for the

Spirit to blow through in this meeting and that the Spirit of the Lord will give new vision to go forth with a greater burden and vision for lost souls. May God continue to bless and prosper you as you continue to move through new doors as he opens doors and use you in far greater ways than you ever imagined. “The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you. The Lord lift up His Countenance upon you and give you peace.” (Numbers 6:24)

His Will. Nothing More. Nothing Less. Nothing Else.

Sam N. Clements

Greetings to all, Kelly and I wish to extend a personal greeting to all who are in attendance. Many hours of prayer and preparation have preceded your arrival. The table has been set, the meal has been made ready, and now it is time to come and dine. Share together the bread of life and drink from the well that never runs dry so that you will leave this Convention nourished, refreshed and strength-ened for the journey.

We welcome you, the members and friends of the Church of God of Prophecy. Be enriched as you gather together for fellowship, worship, instruction and business. We welcome you Father! Your kingdom come; Your will be done throughout this Convention.

We welcome you Lord Jesus! Be the center of your Church so that everything revolves around you.

We welcome you Holy Spirit! Be with us. Be among us. Breathe upon us. Send a fresh wind of Pentecost to fill this place where we are gathered.

In keeping with the theme of our most recent International Assembly, it is my prayer that you will leave this place with a renewed determina-tion to “Cover the Earth” with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Be the living witness that light is greater than darkness, grace is greater than sin, faith is greater than doubt, love is greater than hate and joy is greater than sorrow. “For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea” (Habakkuk 2:14).

In Anticipation of a Spirit-Filled Convention,

Convention Greetings

Tim & Barbara Rigdon Lead Pastors of The Well at New Covenant in

Providence, Kentucky

Tim grew up in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina where he was saved on his 22nd birth-day. With his complete turn-about to Christ from his worldly lifestyle, Tim answered the call to preach July of 1992. Tim was a pastor for five years, before moving to the bluegrass state. In 1995 God called him to western Kentucky where he founded New Covenant Christian Cen-

ter in Providence on March 3, 1996. Where along with his wife, Barb, they have served as Lead Pastors since. He is a shepherd, but he is also a friend. This is a pastor that is approachable. His pulpit is placed on the same level as the congregation, which is a great representation of his humility. His expression of love mirrors the love of Christ.

Barbara is a graduate of University of Kentucky. She grew up in Leitchfield, Kentucky, where she was saved at the age of 12 at a revival a relative invited her to. This divine appointment resulted in a household salvation of her mother, younger sisters, and others at this same revival.

She grew up out of poverty and dysfunctional home in her early years. Bar-bara has such a heart of compassion because she has been in the other per-son’s shoes. She has felt what it’s like to be homeless, hungry, and hurting.
