E-tutorial on sexual and reproductive health and rights www.bodyandrights.be What? E-tutorial Body & Rights is aimed at anyone active in international cooperation. It is a platform that houses a wealth of information on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). Both experienced and new people can learn a lot from it. From understanding what SRHR is actually about getting and keeping SRHR on the agenda. The platform provides a course entitled “Body & Rights, Themes” and “Body & Rights, Testimonials”. Body & Rights, Themes Body & Rights, Themes contains 7 modules that zoom in on a specific SRHR issue with videos, interactive questions and clear fact sheets. Safe childbirth, sexual violence, child marriages, genital mutilation, HIV, STIs, family planning and sexual rights are discussed, with concrete suggestions on what you can do. Special attention is paid to young people and sexual minorities. Body & Rights, Testimonials In “Body & Rights, Testimonials”, four experts talk about their experiences in the field. These chats are very inspiring and provide many tips. How do you get something on the agenda? How do you take into account cultural differences? How do you make a difference through inventiveness and perseverance? What is Belgium’s position on an international level? Diplomats Hannelore Delcour and Dirk Brems, Enabel SRHR expert Marleen Bosmans and Memisa project manager Anna Salvati talk about their experiences. Update 2021 The Body & Rights platform has been active a number of years already. Since 2021 we have been working with a thoroughly evaluated and revised version.
