When you book your next event at Elmwood Park Zoo, not only do you treat your guests to a highly interactive experience at one of the most unique venues in the Greater Philadelphia area, but you also support a very important non-profit organization.  The Zoo's mission is to inspire its guests to take an active role in larger efforts to preserve the Earth’s wildlife and natural resources.

Make your special day feel truly one of a kind with our animal encounters! Brides, grooms, and guests alike will cherish unique memories of giraffe and bison feedings. Your four- legged wedding guests make for perfect newlywed photos.  The beautiful plants and flowers surrounding the zoo add a naturally elegant feel to your wild wedding. Take advantage of the space by incorporating the gardens and ponds inside the zoo, and the creek just yards from our gates.

Elmwood Park Zoo offers the most unique wedding venue in the Greater Philadelphia Area.  Choose to exchange your vows from the bald eagle lookout deck, our rustic red barn, or in any of the zoo’s scenic outdoor ceremony locations. After the “I Do’s” are exchanged, bring the party inside to our beautiful Canopy Gardens for a memorable reception.

The entire zoo is available to rent for private after- hours events with our "Zoo Just For You" Package! All exhibits will remain open exclusively for you and your guests until sunset or 8 pm, whichever comes first, to accommodate for animal bedtime. Includes the price of your rented locations.

Wedding Receptions are hosted for 4 hours, the first hour is cocktails the remaining 3 are for the reception. Additional hours can be rented at an additional cost. Please ask your Event Specialist for pricing. 

This fee is an additional cost to your rental locations. Includes a rehearsal, ceremony coordinator, white samsonite chairs, set up & breakdown of chairs & 1 additional hour for ceremony time.

From there, 20% of the quoted figure or the total sum of all rental spaces, whichever is greater, will be required as a non- refundable down payment to lock in your date and spaces.  Minimum headcounts will be due at time of booking.  Final Headcount & Payment are due 30 days out!
