donations! PE K-2 For the next two weeks, students will be bowling. This week I introduced the students to the motion of bowling by sliding a beanbag across the floor. To practice the skill of sliding we played a fun game of "Little Sliders." Next week the students will get into small groups to play a team game of bowling. Each bowling teams will have positions: Bowlers, scorers, pin setters and ball returners. The positions will be rotated so each student gets a chance to participate in all the positions. February Heart Healthy Newsletter Spanish K-1 We have started a new unit called "Los Monstruos del Bosque" (Monsters in the Forest). Our vocabulary focuses on parts of the body, colors and numbers. We will play Simon Says along with singing "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" in Spanish. Check out the song here. Music K-2 Over the last few weeks our Champions have been exploring what it means to be:

- Tuneful – to have tunes in their heads and learn to coordinate their voices to sing those tunes

- Beatful – to feel the pulse of music and how that pulse is grouped in either 2s or 3s.

- Artful – to be moved by music in the many ways music can elicit an emotional response.

These are concepts that we've been building on since the beginning of the year, and will continue as we move into spring!
