Upgraded Dragline Pin OfferingESCO has converted our entire pin offering to fabricated, case-hardened pins. These upgraded pins are now made from aircraft grade material and undergo a revised induction-hardening process.
These two changes deliver improved performance when compared to our previous fabricated and cast pins. The cast pins will no longer be offered.

DRAGLINE PINSIDENTIFYING FEATURESSome visual features that can be used to identify a new induction-hardened, fabricated pin versus a cast pin include:
STANDARDIZED HOLE SIZE AND THREAD PITCH WITH INCLUDED LIFTING EYE*
MACHINED BEARING SURFACE
WELDED PIN HEAD**
*Small number of select pins do not include lifting eye.
**Not including headless pins. Some pins under 4.0in diameter have pin head machined from original piece of bar stock and therefore will not have a welded head.

DRAGLINE PINSREPLACEMENT PARTS LISTBelow is a list of pins that do not have a direct replacement part from the old ESCO offering to the new case hardened pin. These replacement pins will not utilize the original locking system and will therefore require different parts including (but not limited to) locks, spacers, and other hardware. One example is illustrated below the table.
