GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE APPLICANTS
● Scheme of the ExaminationThere shall be only one question paper in this examination, which shall consist of 100
questions and the time prescribed for solving and marking answers shall be 120 minutes. Thisquestion paper will include 15 questions on General Knowledge, 15 questions onEnvironment, 15 questions on Hindi, 15 questions on English, 20 questions on Science and 20questions on Mathematics of the level of 8th class.
● Eligibility for AdmissionThe boys and girls who have passed/studying 8th class and at the time of entrance the
candidate should be passed with C Grade.
● Examination CentreThe centre will be at the district headquarters and Block Headquarters where Model
schools situated, the information about which can be obtained from District EducationOfficer/Block Education Officer/Complex Centre Principal’s Office.
● Duration of the ExaminationThe examination will be held at the District Headquarters in all the districts of the State
and Block headquarters. A period of 30 minutes out of this examination duration will be givento get the students to fill in the desired entries by the invigilators and the remaining 2·00 hrs.will be meant for solving the question paper.
● Examination FeeThe Examination fee for unreserved category R 60/-. For candidates who are residents of
Madhya Pradesh (Other Backward Class, Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe/Persons withDisability) the fee will be R 60/-. R 25/- extra charge for M.P. online Portal charge.
