shasta college upward Bound students were selected to participate in the Chico State College Tour. The students toured the culturally rich campus, had lunch in the Market Place, and explored the town of Chico.

Upward Bound helps young people prepare for higher education. Participants receive instruction in literature, composition, mathematics, and science on college campuses both during the summer and the academic school year. Currently, 774 programs are in operation throughout the united states.
