Dear Parents/Grandparents,
Hello all, as usual there are so many marvellous things which have occurred at our wonderful
school over the past fortnight such as: book day, tennis, David Dunn workshop, tree planting
and Olympic projects.
Friendly reminders:
LUNCH DAY– The student leaders organised another outstanding lunch day. It is proving to be successful—the very tasty spaghetti bolognaise, prima and a delicious frog in the pond.
Lunch Next Wednesday 7th of September

Father’s Day Stall— Recess Thursday 1st of September
David Dunn’s Workshop
Hi parents, we have had an amazing two days with David Dunn he is an spectacular aborig-
inal artist. We did some beautiful murals on what we love of Urana, he taught us how to
paint human figures and great sunsets also realistic looking gum trees and fires. He
showed us some of his best paintings and we had a chance to create something beautiful
and authentic. We completed two murals that will be mounted on the end of our 3-6 room
and will be easily seen from the road.

Book Day 2016
Book day was amazing. Everyone enjoyed the food that the Student Leaders made for us and the parents. Everyone dressed up differently, some were very creative however they were all good. We thank the Student Leaders and Mrs Brooks for cooking the food.

They have been learning all kinds of different facts and asking lots of questions.

Last week K-6 planted trees that Mrs Mitchell's brother kindly donated, so we can now watch them grow just like we grow.
This term the 3-6 have been learning about the Olympics. They have made their own Olympic rings with athletes doing all kinds of different events. They made little rings with patterns and drawings inside of them. Every ring has different patterns.
